Is there any safe way to make dyed mohair lighter?  Just by about one shade?  I have some great dark blue and dark red that I want to make pandas out of.  The only issue is I can't find white or lighter shades in the same pile and density.  Any help or tips would be wonderful!

I've never tried it on fur but Rit make a colour remover? maybe you could try that? Do a google, there are a lot of discussions about lightening jeans.

You can try a bleach water solution.   Have you put out the word that you need a white in the same fabric as the blue and red?  Someone might have it in their stash and be willing to part with it.
