With the approach of Spring I am beginning to feel invigorated (!) plus the visit to Hugglets has heralded the "return of the missing mojo" .

Does anyone fancy putting their names down for an Early Summer Swap - no theme just the happiness giving and receiving a new bear can bring - to add a little bit of extra interested though, I thought perhaps we could send our partner the fabric we would like our swap bear to be made out of.

In my own case there has to be enough to get TWO heads out of it - as I am notorious for always discarding one!

I will team mini bear people together, so don't worry about that.

Lets make a good one, like last year.

Karon.

I would love to participate.  I love the element of suprise though so am not sure about sending the fabric but see what the majority want.

I'd like to do a swap, but would prefer not to send the fabric.

It's an interesting idea, but I'd rather be surprised, and I'd rather have the artist work with the type of fabric she or he loves best.

Oh, I would love to but I have so many bears to complete for people now!  If I get caught up I will put my name in!!!

I don't think we should send the fabric though...that is part of the fun of making the bear...picking out the fabric!!!

Oh many thanks ladies!

Yes. scrap the idea of sending the fabric, I can see now that it could cause problems.

I thought about JULY for swap itself but leave the deadline for joining until this time next month?

HOWEVER if some people need longer to make the swap item itself just say.  I don't want anyone to feel under ANY pressure!

Gosh ... a real scrummy swap it will be with the artists involved.

Linda Down is also joining us.

Karon

PS NO THEME - just do as you please

Changed my mind, I so want to do a swap, so I'm in too    The very end of July/first week of August would really be best for me (I have these two weeks off and will definately be able to finish - famous last words  bear_grin )
