My swap partner, Lyn Clapham who resides in Australia lived in the town where I now live, High Wycombe.  How Bizarre is that.

Lyn is also familiar with my "retreat" Missenden Abbey and her children went to one of the school in the village that the Abbey is in.

It really makes you see what a small world this really is.

Hi Karon

It is a small world.  We have just got back from holiday.  We visited Hughenden Manor in High Wycombe on Friday!  Very nice it was, too.

bear_shocked Sue you were even closer to where I use to live. If you went pass the Manor heading away from the town centre and took the right at the aroundabout (Cryers Hill Road) then I had a house about half way up that hill  bear_original

I love the Manor - used to go dog walking there.

The Manor itself is a wonderful place and has been used in a lot historical fims and series.

Where the forget me nots out in the garden?
