Never say never I guess LOL! I swore I'd never make a real fur bear as it was too "hard". Well, last year a lovely lady purchased one of my patterns on my other site (httpj://www.FreeTeddyBearPatterns.NET) She wanted to make 3 bears for her step children out of their mother's mink coat.
Eventually she contacted me and said it was beyond her and would I please finish them? I couldn't say no. I've now finished 2 of the bears and am starting on the 3rd bear today. Here's a photo of that first bear

I know what you mean........never say never...........and you have to start somewhere. At least you get experience working with fur.
