Braille TeddiesI'd like for everyone to see my new facebook Braille Teddies page. I haven't got the pics up yet because I'm still trying to figure it out, but I'm just letting you know it's there so you can see it.

Braille TeddiesThanks, Becky. I'm fixing to try to upload the pics of all the bearbears. Do you guys know of any groups for bear people on facebook? Maybe I'd go there more often if there's a lot of bear stuff.
There are scores of bear-makers' pages to "Like." Then anything they post will be in your news feed. (My link is here: www.facebook.com/Dangerbears) There's also Daphne's page: Artist Teddy Bears for Sale, where anyone can list a bear.

Braille TeddiesHey, I have a question. I don't see a newsfeed displayed when I use my facebook as Braille Teddies. How do I get it to display?
Can you click on "Home" at the upper right of the page? That should take you to your newsfeed, I think.

Braille TeddiesI tried. I don't have friends on that page, but I do have likes. I don't know if it's just that no one has posted since I have or what.

desertmountainbearIn order to get news feed on your home page you have to switch back to Jesse. It is a pain in the neck, but it is how Facebook is set up.

Braille TeddiesWill that also have updates on the pages I have liked as Braille Teddies? I'm still trying to find all the bear artists, but I'm not sure whether I should post as myself or my page when I comment on your pages. Also, do you think I should like my own page so my friends will know it's there?
desertmountainbearWhen you post on pages like Artist Teddy Bears for Sale then post as Braille Teddies. In order to do this you must like the page as Braille Teddies. That way if they click on your little avatar picture it will take them back to Braille Teddies. When you post on your Braille Teddies page post as Braille Teddies. If you post as Jessie then only your friends that like Braille teddies will see the post. That is not what you want, you want everyone who likes Braille Teddies to see the post. Because you are going to start to get people who you are not friends with liking your page.
To get your friends to like Braille Teddies scroll down the page like we did yesterday there is a place that says Share, it is on the left hand column so it will be near the top of your reader. If you click that another box opens up for you to post something about your page to your own friends. You could say something like "I hope my friends will come and like my new Braille Teddies page"

I do have a news feed when I'm logged in as my page. It only shows posts from the pages that my page likes. (There's a sentence you don't have much occasion to say! :lol:)
Or is it my page's favorite pages...? Can't quite remember how that works.

That must be it, Joanne. I have about 6 pages that my page likes, and that's whose posts I see in my news feed.

desertmountainbearI usually am scrolling around on Facebook as myself. So when I like a page it is as myself. Becky is saying that if you like it as Braille Teddies then you can read the news feed for those pages when you are Braille Teddies. Personally I like to be Joanne Livingston when I am on there. The only time I am Desertmountainbear is when I am posting on my fan page.
