Hi, Teddy Talkers
It is my pleasure to introduce Archie Luffkin, my newest bear. I was going for a 1950s feel, inspired by the illustrations in Enid Blyton books (and other classics!)
The wool I used for Archie's jumper is amazing stuff a friend of mine found in our favourite wool shop. An elderly lady had donated a treasure trove of these 1940s and 50s wools, many still with their original tags. The ply was very fine, and I knitted the jumper on 2mm needles. I love the way the colours work together.
I hope that you enjoy his picture!
Kind regards,
Claire.
This guy is just gorgeous!!!!
I forgot to say, I love the insignia on his chest, is that a sticker or a badge? Can't wait to put my first bear on here, I can see the bar has been set quite high so I better get going!!!
Hi Bonnie
I had some pin badges made up with my Copi Khatz logo on. I think they are great for that retro feel, and have used them on one or two pieces.
Good luck with your first bear, I'm sure it will be great. Look forward to it!
Best wishes,
Claire.
He is just fabulous and you have created the nostalgia just right!
