Whoa . . . that's only 2" of snow??? Looks like about a foot!!! Beautiful!
How do we go out in that snow? Very carefully Once the plows have been on the road, it's not too bad......the snow isn't the bad part in going out, When the temperatures get to a minus 30 F, that is difficult, but once it get belows 0, it doesn't matter much..... I wouldn't live anywhere that doesn't get snow..... the more the better

Gorgeous photos everyone, Riley looks really cute Daphne. We had our first snow over here a few weekends ago, but it disappeared as quickly as it arrived! Today we woke up to a sparkling white scene with a strong frost, the plants looks so pretty all edged in frost. I took this photo out across the fields from our living room, the fields were white in frost, well worth wrapping up warm to take some photos. It's nice to finally see a bit of sun too, it's been just as dark and grey here Penny lately, so it's not just the UK

Mostly all of our snow is gone for the week. It all blew away, Yuck. It will be back. Right now we have something even cooler.
They call it Pogonip here, that's an Indian word, other places they call it Hoary Frost.
Everything and I mean Everything is covered in this Hairy looking frost about 1/2 inch to 1in long And we have thick heavy fog, the fog never lifted yesterday here. So the whole world here looks like we are doused in Powdered sugar. Oh man is it ever Cold!!!!!!!
Ohhhh it would be nice to have snow for christmas, instead we have summer, we had a forecast of 36 Cel yesterday, followed by huge thunderstorms.
Thanks for sharing the photos of the snow with us.
Kathy.... that frost looks and sounds chillingly amazing! Thanks for showing us!
