I'm still going retro with my tradional teddy pattern, playing with different furs and fabrics in my stash. . .this is Burliegh, carefully cut from a vintage faux fur coat that was shaded/printed to look like fur pelts
Burliegh is 18" with leather paw pads and nose. he is a traditional 5-way jointed teddy and is filled with a combination of plastic & silicone pellets and woodwool, for a squishy, huggable heft
Wow, he's handsome!
He is just gorgeous, Kelly.
I love his laid back posture and his innocent, suprised expression (who me?).
And the combination of colours is great as well.
A wonderful hunk of a bear!

Peter & the bears
very lovely!
He is wonderful! I love the effect you got from using the fur coat.  Very inspiring... makes me feel like making at least one traditional teddy bear - it's seems like ages since I've done that.
I love this guy! His proportions are great!
Simply wonderful!!!! I can feel his "huggability" from here!

Ohhhh, you lucky girl, Tami!
thanks, everyone! (and esp. thanks, Tami!!!!!   )
He's a gorgeous bear, love all the realistic/traditional bears ~ they're very special. He's kind of between really realistic and really traditional, and of course very handsome! The look on his face reminds me of my German Shepherd, Caleb, a bit of a big dopey but very intelligent lump lol. In the nicest way! I call my Caleb a lump and a wombat all the time with the upmost love ROFL
I've added your website link to my site Kelly I love to visit your site it's such a happy place
He's wonderful and his name is perfect for him!
Hugs,
Janice
