Hello,
I have a question. I never used any stuffing other than wool or shredded cotton for my teddies until now. Lately I started looking around for something heavy to give weight to the bears and help them standing. I read in the library the posts about this subject, but unfortunately didn't find any of the suggested steel shot & Co.
A couple of days ago I came upon some bags of mica granules in a store. They are perfect: heavy,  fine, round granules. The colour is silver. I tried them and they work very well.
Have any of you ever used them, or heard of them being used?
Thanks!

Whenever I use the like of steel shot or glass pellets, I put them in a pop sock, so that none of it escapes through the seams.  I've also used tiny aquarium pebbles too from the pet shop.  I think as long as it's contained and not harmful, anything goes  bear_grin
