This photo is a little departure from the ones I usually grab from the internet. I volunteer at a wonderful facility called International Exotic Animal Sanctuary which is located about 30 minutes from my house. They take in abused, orphaned, abandoned and confiscated animals that can't be rehabilitated and introduced back to the wild. For years they've had only big cats and bears, but last week they got their first pair of coatimundis. This pic is of George the grizzly bear. George is one of four siblings that came to IEAS as orphaned cubs. The reason is not known, but he only has one ear . . . that doesn't keep him from looking totally adorable! If you would like to take a peek at all the amazing animals there, the link is www.bigcat.org .
Good for you Sue Ann! Yep, George does look adorable no doubt about it
I will take a peek at the web site too. Thanks for sharing this lovely pic
George is a good looking bear.
His one ear is barely noticeable in that picture. Even when you do notice, it just makes him look more like a bada$$.
I like pictures of all different animals. I like cats but, when it's just cats, they all start looking the same. It's better when you mix them up.
Aww, love the expression in this, and I didn't notice the missing ear until you said!
Aww, what a wonderfully beautiful hunk of a bear!
He even looks a bit shy to me. :D
Well done SueAnn and the IEAS for such a great job!
What a beautiful bear, actually looks "pretty" with such a gorgeous face and innocent expression. You are a very lucky lady SueAnn to be near and be involved with such a fantastic place. I think I would pay money to work in a place like that!!
