You will all be very proud of me.

Hubby, for the third time today and probably just to shut me up, told me I'm more than welcome to go up to his office and get the bear if I want him that bad. Well, of course that took the fun out of it!

Teasing hubby and whining is more fun!  :twisted:

Now, if hubby put the bear in my chair in my studio or had him sitting on the bed when I crawl in tonight THAT would be ok. But I don't think that is happening! SIGH..................

Guess who is going to be up before the sun on Christmas morning jumping up and down begging to go down to the tree???

Daphne, I do so agree with you.....the teasing and whining are half the fun.....don't give in....

Don't you hate it when they do call our bluff?

have you been able to hold on.....does he know you stuck your finger in and found the nose?

(I don't dare do that or mine wont get wrapped.  hmmmmm   if it gets here in time)  But even if it doesn't I don't care.....some things are more important than silly time frames.....

I think it is so wonderful that your hubby got you a bear.....after all it's what we all want,

I have my bear!!!!!

After a lovely day visiting my folks and hearing dad sing a solo in Church this morning, enjoying a wonderful lunch with them and playing with all of our dogs (they have 2 dogs also!) we came home to relax and watch a movie. Before the movie started Henry came downstairs with a sheepish grin on his face and something behind his back. "Got room for one more on the couch?" he asked.

He said he'd planned to give me the bear today anyway. And that it'd been such a nice day, he wanted to finish it off right. (I think the whining and begging and making an overall pain out of myself had a little something to do with my getting him early!)

So, I have my "Miki" by Deb Smith. Yup, Danni was right!

I have to tell you..... he's even more magnificent in person! For only her 11th bear Deb has done an amazing job. I looked back at my 11th bear and am now very ashamed! HA! Deb, one would think you'd been making bears for years! The expression is perfect and the attention to details is very obvious. Great airbrushing and eyes! He's got a great weight to him and he's very huggable.

I am so glad I'll now have his company while I write out Christmas cards and wrap presents this week. He's sitting here with me now and sends you all a great big hug and he's glad you weren't able to convince me to be patient until Christmas!!!

I am so pleased, that now we have all found out who you new Bear is!!!
Miki is absolutely adorable and you are such a lucky lady.
What a wonderful Christmas present and you have such a thoughtful Husband.
I am so glad that you did not have to wait until Christmas Day as that would have been so hard.
Great that you now have your special friend to sit beside you to help with the Christmas cards.

Beautiful little thing. I guess alot of bears really do get sold on here.

He slept on a little quilt I made on my night table last night. (I didn't want him in bed with us and I roll over on him or he fall out of bed and the dogs get him!)

He's just wonderful!! After christmas I'll change his bow for Valentine's Day... then for Spring.... oh, what fun we'll have! Speaking of his bow, our inventive Deb stitched that bow together, attached it to the neck piece and made it so it snaps on and off! How cool is that!?! No having to tie and untie the bow! You are so creative, Deb!!

Thank you all for sharing this adventure with me. You've now all see my badder (is that a word?) side!  :twisted: You've got 6 months until my birthday and then we can do it all again!  :doh:  JUST KIDDING!
