This piece was created as a memorial piece for a friend of a fandom I belong to. The collar is symbolic of both his birthday (November birthstone) and his death month (February's stone is purple) and the poem and phoenix represent the cycle of life and death.

:3 The person who initially owned the fur (who is the 'subject' of the plush) was going to make a costume of some sort of character, but we didn't know what, unfortunately so we chose the phoenix. The person closest to him, a Dr. Samuel Conway, now owns this plush
