Welcome to my home.  May I fix you an eggnog or perhaps a peppermint mocha latte?

Yes, you may.  I've never tasted eggnog, and what could ever be wrong with a mix of peppermint, mocha, and latte???  I will bring Magic Cookie Bars to share.

Aleta... I didn't realize, until viewing these photos, that your house was located behind the cover of VERANDA magaizne.  Lucky you!  Please tell me someone ELSE does the cleaning, or I really will have to cry very hard, for about five years.

Shelli, I was thinking exactly the same      Aleta lives in my dream home, it's like one out of the movies      She also has the studio I dream about........ahhhhhhh!!

I was too absolutely enchanted by the Santa coat in the case, Aleta - your home is beautiful, if you could see my tiny poky English house, you'd laugh your head off!!!  (Especially when you see me squashed in the corner of the lounge/diner trying to create!!    )

I'm off to sulk for a week

OK, so here's Christmas at our house, finally.  YES, that's just about all of the ornaments on the top half of the tree; little ones' sticky fingers and big pooches wild tail have convinced me to relocate any breakables.  And of course, he just HAD to jump in the pic!
The half wall has all bear figurins/ornaments that can sit/stand alone.  I know, our walls and windows are bare.... It's a new house and we haven't gotten to all of that decorating yet....
