Girls I can't believe this,I feel so blessed from above. Two weeks ago I was checking my local Walmart for the thousands time and they still didn't get any more in(Fur Real Chimp for those of you who missed my monkey cry for help). I asked, begged pleaded with them and she said ,very doubtful they would get any in and especially not before Christmas. As an after thought,she said she could take my name and she wrote it in a little tiny notebook. Again she said she was very sorry but she was sure she wouldn't get any. I turned to her and said with all my heart " Well,I will just say a prayer to St. Jude and hope for the best" She kind of scoffed and laughed and said " Do you really think that's going to help"? I said  very loudly,"I know it will,he has helped me many times. She walked off laughing and thinking I was a fanatic or missing a few brain cells but after saying my prayer and asking you girls for help and still believing against all odds..... Walmart just called me and they have one that just came in,I'm the first person they called and you would think I just won the lottery and was a mega millionaire.

that is so great, cause they are not on Walmart.com and i looked today at the walmart here and they don't have any!!!
I am so glad your daughter will be delighted.!!!!!!! God answers all Prayers!!!!!!!

Shari I am so glad you got your monkey...... talking of the power of prayer... I had lost my earings last April they belonged to my mother and I wore them all the time ... anyway I have not been able to find them since April as I said..... I have prayed to St Jude ...... two weeks ago my husband came in from the garden and said have you been looking for this ...... yes it was one of my mothers earings he said it fell out of the washing ....... I went into the laundry and there was the other one on the floor..... the mystery is that there was nothing in that wash that I have not worn for it to be in the clothes ...... yes I believe in the power of prayer..

Gosh, I've just experienced synchronicity!!! I was talking to some friends recently about praying to St.Jude....it was new to me, being the fairly un-religious person that I am. But we were talking about the power of prayer in the context of positive attitude, fate etc etc. And also synchronicity (aka meaningful coincidence).  I'll have to tell them about this one :lol:

Hugs to you all!! I'm still walking on air about the whole thing and when my husband picked it up ,they told him it was the only one that came in. Amazing!!

Hugs to you also Helena, I'm not super religous,I do go to church every week but my faith is strong and I thank God for all the blessings in my life and never blame for the bad stuff.Actually, I thank God that it wasn't much worse than it is (or was).

I know it may be silly to pray for a monkey when there is so much else to be prayed for but I pray for all the other things also.

I just realized you're in Nova Scotia.  I love it there!  I went to Halifax and Cape Breton.  We stayed at Keltic Lodge, which I loved, and drove around the Cabot Trail.  It was so pretty.

Oh,thanks Chrissie,I have family in both places      I visited Florida twice,my parent used to have  a place in Ranchero Village.Love it !!
