I think I would like to figure out how to sell some of my patterns.  I have no idea how to upload into pdf form so I can email them the pattern.  Any help on that front would be very appreciated:)

Also does anyone feel like you would be selling a little bit of who you are if you sold your patterns?  I worked real hard on these!  I'd like to here some of your thoughts
thanks
Carrie

Carrie, I have never sold my patterns, but on the computer side, there are various freeware programs that can convert image files to pdf, for example: http://download.cnet.com/JPG-To-PDF/300 … ml?tag=dre so if you have a drawing and scan it, you can save it as a jpg image and then convert that to pdf. (There are also Word to pdf programs so that you can save the instructions as pdf files, too.)

These freeware programs are abundant, and they save you from having to buy Adobe Acrobat. (At least that's what I hear.) bear_original

Hi Carrie you could always send out 'hard copies' through the post but of course this will cost you more. I would prefer that myself as I am not so savy with the pc and downloads don't always come out the size I want- you'd have to include a scale to make sure of this.
As for selling your patterns I think there would be a lot of people who would love to have a go at your cute bears. I don't think you would need to worry about a load of Carrie look a likes as it is your interprataion as an artist that makes your style unique. Why not give it a go with just a couple to see how it pans out and encourage the buyers to send you a photo of how they turned out to put on your website. Good luck
