Are there somebody, who can help me.
How do I make the front paws on a Polar bear, when the bear is to be sitting and on all four legs.
I have seen Karin de Lorenzo's bears - they both stand up or sit and on all four legs.
The front leg paws are different - dipend on how the bear is posed.
Do some of you know, how I'll make the paws that way.
Any help is appriciated.
You have to design a pattern for a streched paw/leg (like on the sitting bear) and insert a wire armature, then you can bend the paw up or down in any position you want.
Thank you Elli, for the advice - I think I know, what you mean, do you think, that I need to turn the paw in the design,
or is it just the wire that will do the job by turning the paw down when sitting
I've drawn this very fast, so it's not very accurate:
The pattern could look like figure 1, then the stuffed arm would look somewhat like figure 2.
But if you insert a wire armature and stuff the arm not too hard you can bend it in many positions like in figure 3 (the red line is supposed to be the armature).
Does this help?
Wow - that is exacly what I was after. Thank you so much.
The drawing helped alot.
