Hi, I am intersted in the fabric you used to make your bear. Can you tell me what it is called and where I can find some. Your bear is nice. Thanks

Pattycake, this bear is made from mohair fabric. It's a natural fiber that comes from a special kind of goat.

Most of us order mohair (or alpaca, viscose, or synthetic plush) from suppliers (mail order). If you tell us which part of the world you live in, we can probably recommend some good suppliers.

Sorry to hijack your post, nounours. bear_original Pattycake is a new member, and it sounds as if she is very new to bear making as well. (Probear is a wonderful supplier for bear makers who live in Europe.)
