'Sweet Atohi' is a 10" hand sewn Art Bear by La De Da' Artisan Bears
FACIAL FEATURES
'Sweet Atohi' views the world through black glass eyes and our signature sculpted lids filled with "wet" tears. The nose has also been sculpted freehand.
BODY
He is five way jointed and is created in German mohair in cream and gold, panda style. His foot pads are painted and treated to look like genuine leather and tiny claws were hand scultped from polymer clay are embedded into the paws. They were painted and distessed to look lifelike.
He was sewn entirely by hand by the artist, and is stuffed with poly, copper shot and the highest quality lavender buds in the chubby belly. All of my work is created 100% by me.
LAVENDER
The lavender is imported from the Mont Ventoux region of Provence, France. Lavender is a La De Da' signature element added to all of my bears to enhance the "hug" experience with a gentle, therapeutic natural scent. Squeezing the buds helps release the scent, so you get a little bit of relaxation with every hug. In addition, non-culinary Lavender is a natural repellent helping preserve and protect your La De Da' Artisan Bear for many years.
DETAILS
'Sweet Atohi' is the first of this design from my studio. The head looks upward with an endearing gaze and posture. My hope was to capture a bit of realism while keeping with the La De Da' style.
All of my designs are one of kind, no two bears are alike. From my heart to your hand....I hope the La De Da' Artisan Bears bring you a smile.
