This was my entry for the Golden George In Münster/Germany in April. Sadly I was not nominated but I am very proud of my work and I would like to know what you think about it.
The cake ist sewn from felt and has a diameter of 20cm (8"), all fruits and baisers are sewn as well, the blueberries are 1cm (0.4") in diameter.
All mice and bears are 5way disc-jointed. The tallest mouse is 8cm (3.2") and the smallest one is 4,5cm (1.8").
The busy bears which are carring the strawberry are 7cm (2.8").
Sweaters and hats are handknitted with needle size 0.8mm (UK 21) and pure wool.
I think this display gives you a summer feeling and the taste of strawberries :-)

Netcong, New JerseyOH MY OH MY OH MY!!!! Wow, Sabine, what a TOTALLY GORGEOUS display. Love the little blueberries and that sweet hat on the little mouse thief. What amazing detail!!! Very cleverly done! How you make those teeny tiny little sweaters is mind-boggling! Love them! If it was up to me, I'd nominate you for a Golden George!
