I guess I'm like you. I just work at pieces all year long, and if I really like something and think it's worthy, then I photograph it for the entries at the end of the year. My bunny and cart from last year was made for Easter of that year. I've never made a piece just for the competitions. It just happened that all three of my entries this year were made right before the end of the year. It does kind of make me feel like I should have really stretched myself more for this competion, when you see all of the wonderful work that everyone has put into special pieces for the awards! Maybe next year!
