My daughter says the baby is going to be a girl, heartbeat is very high, and baby is very active, Lauren is having bad bouts of morning sickness, hence her saying its a girl. We think the next scan will tell us the sex. !!!!
I like the name Emily, everyone say erggggg. So hence the bear being called Emily.
This was a last minute decision to enter for the Toby, and she is a plain bear, no fancy frills.

Oh, she's really cute, Lynette!  I like that she has a story attached to her creation.  And she's very MUCH a girl; so feminine and pretty.  Very sweet!!!

I have to tell you that your daughters name has a special meaning to me.  My cousin and his wife had 3 wonderful boys and Bonnie always wanted to have a girl...but after the 3rd boy, she was unable to have anymore children and she told me that she even had 'her little girl that would never be'...named ,and it would have been Lauren.  So (back when I was sculpting original dolls) I made a tiny Lauren and she was extremely popular with the collectors.  I will see if I can get a pic and post it for you to see.

When I saw this bear I said out loud,"OH WOW!".  Really a gorgeous bear.  She looks like she wants to be picked up and cuddled.

I hope things work out for your grandbaby.  How far along is she?

This bear is absolutely darling!!     Love the longer mohair, the big eyes, the waxed nose, and that itty bitty mouth!  She has Hug Me written all over her dress!  I'm sure I'm not the only one who see it.
