I was just surfing, trying to find a website for Mastex upholstery thread... wondering if I could order direct. (Doesn't seem they have a website) and anyway, I stumbled across a website selling bear making supplies including mohair, thread, dye etc.

It's called Babel Bears and it's run by Kathleen O'Connor out of Victoria Australia.

Just thought I'd pass it on to you Aussies .. I hadn't heard anyone mention them... might be worth checking into. I didn't spend a long time on there.

I tried to order from them a few weeks ago.  The lady was lovely - she was out of a lot of  the threads.  SO I ended up ordering from Edinburgh.   Postage was really great, so I got them much cheaper!
