Well here is my first leather nose, I think I like it :)
Most of the leather I had was to stiff so I found a old leather glove
and cut out the shape of the nose I liked and used a small applique stitch
to attach it to his face. I was going cut out a felt template under it to help sew it on in the right place but that didnt work out very well
so I took my pencil and made a very light mark to show top and bottom as a guide. Sew around the nose a few time to make it look even and try hiding your
stitches.
I think it is Nancy Tillberg book that showed great directions on this. I have about
6 books and they all seem to be about the same.
Tami,
Your nose is wonderful and I love your bear head. What a classy looking fellow!

Fantastic nose and outstanding bear head . . . you're well on your way to being a super bear artist!
It all looks great to me! Can't wait to see the whole bear.
Tami, VERY well done. But you've gotta give it up here at TT; any secrets you can share, so others can try it too? Books that were helpful? Materials of special merit?
Be sure to post the bear when it's all done; it's off to a fabulous start, methinks.

Tami, did you stuff the nose behind with anything or is that just all leather there??? It looks so much fuller.
Hugs, Kathy
P.S. thanks for the tips

Hi Kathy, I used just alittle stuffing in it. I didnt really know how much to use
and kept adding and taking it out. LOL
It was easier to sew around it though after it was stuffed alittle.
