Just to show I haven't been slacking here is my new Koala for ebay, on this Sunday night coming. Flossie is 2 3/4" tall and I used the chenille pipe cleaners in her arms. It makes such a difference to the poses you can get. It brings them to life. Thanks to whoever suggested them. I used good old Sassy's fabric and onyx bead eyes for a change, also the tiny cotterpins.
Oh I was having a 'moment' yesterday, 'me heads in the shed' as the kids say. The eyes are glass, not onyx, thats the one I was working on yesterday.
Chris I use forceps to turn. They grip a little fabric inside, lock, and then you start turning. I got them off ebay with tweezers that I use to stuff with. I could not do without them, well them and my thin curved needle!
What a little sweetie!! How on earth can you make something so small? Isn't turning right side out impossible? I am just a chicken when it comes to building small bears. One day....
HOw adorable is that! Beautiful just beautifyl.
I just love her.. so dainty!

Beautiful pink baby, Amanda! I just get amazed at how these little minis look sooooo adorable!
Amanda, I never would have thought to make a pink koala, but she is truely beautiful!! Perfect little face!
And Chris, that's what tweezers are for!!
Amanda - that is sooooooo cute - so very very cute!
I designed an anime head at lunchtime today - it it turns out half as good as yours I'll be happy (though mines a teddy not a koala)
What an absolute little doll! I adore this wee baby bear!

Tweezers! I never would have thought! But this pink koala was an inspiration for me to cut out a 3" bear this evening and try to turn the small legs - I managed without wrecking it and it sure is cute. Really up there on the "awwwww" meter. Thanks Stephanie for the tweezer hint!
Amanda that is one cute bear .....
Sugar precious...sweet little bear. Making very small bears takes a lot of accuracy and petience..she is so very cute....Winney
