How should mohair and alpaca be stored?
Thank you

as far as I know, the best way would be to either lay it flat, or hang it up. Idealy, not to create any creases.

But as my space does not allow, I fold mine in half and store it in a large bin. Away from the sun, moisture etc.

I bet someone else will have some great tips too!

Laurie, I too, fold mine and store it in large plastic bins.  It might be a good idea to throw in a few cedar balls to keep away pesky moths.

I hang mine on hangers with clothes pins on a moveable clothes rack

I fold my mohair in a large plastic bin also and I put a cake of Chanel no. 5 soap in there, and makes
it smell so lovely.

A bit late jumping in here... but instead of folding mine (as I don't have room to hang it) I roll mine so there are no creases and then store it in my plastic tub.
