He looks a "he" for me, and I find him wonderful ! I can picture him well with a too big sweater (yes, I do like too big sweaters  bear_happy ).

I love the fabric. Sparse ones like are always my favourites. He looks a boy to me too. The too baggy sweater sounds good to me. I'd give him a hat. hahahah But then I love hats.hahah

bear_original  What an absolutely wonderful face, Matthea.

This is a bear to be reckoned with, no question. I don't know . . .I see him in something more formal than a sweater. He reminds me of an English gent.
