Here is a bear I designed and made for a lady at work who just turned 65 and who lost her husband just before Xmas. Baby is 6" and she is made from a Burgundy Persian faux fur.
The ironic this is that I designed the bear and named the pattern Baby. I didn't design her with the intention of making her for my colleagues birthday but I remembered about 2 days after I designed her that my colleagues nickname was Baby!! So it was fate and I had to make Baby for her. She loves her and was really surprised!

what a lovely bear and what an even more lovely lady you are to give this bear to your colleague. What did she say when you gave her this darling bear? I bet she was thrilled to bits.
She was almost in tears! I also made her a little jewlery box hand embroidered with brazilian embroidery. I had made one for my Grandma for Xmas and my colleague admired it so much and now she has one of her own.
