Valentino-resize.jpgThis is my creation, after doing the class with Judi.

I had played around with wool roving? still getting used to this term at some of the European shows,to amuse myself, so knew that you used a special needle and if you were not carefull with it you got a "bloody" sore  finger which could be painful.
Valentino is very coy and shy , so be carefull what you say about him, he might just burst into tears and hide in the cupboard and never re-appear, you have heard mention earlier on about someone bawling and bawling if they  did not receive a nomination,
and of course he does have these divine long black eyelashes, just to wink  at all these adorable female bears on show in TT.

I enjoyed the class, and will no doubt be doing lots more of this. It was fun. Needles have been ordered and are on their way to me, enquiries have been made, and I have been told that the Weaving guild in SA should have wool roving , Prisma pens are also jetting out to SA , so a whole new world of teddy bears are waiting to be born.

I took that course too. Isn't it interesting that we all made basically the same bear but each one looks completely different! Great fun needlefelting, painful but fun.

Lynette

How wonderful you are!  What a great interpretation of the class!  I am so proud of you!!!  This little guy is super and with this new found talant of yours you can really take off into new directions.  Congratulations!

I hope you are as pleased with your accomplishment as we are. You really absorbed the basics and made it your own tool for creating wonderful new bears.  I think you did great!!!

Lynette, you did a fanastic job on this bear.  Just adorable bear_wub  I love the eyelashes.  Nice touch.

Needle felting is no easy task in the beginning and these ladies who are showing their work have truely made me proud that I could play a part in it.

It was great having you in class and I look forward to more gorgeous bears!

I am doing the needlefelting waltz with Valentino , my dogs think I am totally daft now !!!!!!!!!!If Judi was here she would be be waltzing too.
One of my favourite songs is from Beauty and the Beast, "A whole new World" and this is what TT is to me, A new fantastic point of view, 1001 things to see , new horizons to pursue, its all wrapped up in this song, without the soppy (stupid) bits.
How nice to be able to learn, share and improve our techniques !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
