Prototype of my 1st ATC (Artist Trading Card) / General / Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

:clap: Alright...here we go. I am going to share my first prototype...I hope someone else will jump in with theirs. :dance:

This card is completely made by hand using:

Card stock
Multiple watercolor washes of tan, heather green, very delicate mauve, and heather blue.

Then distressed with inks.

Letters is a fun hand done...using gradient colors.

Photos were cut-out in random shapes and applied to a light weight black paper, cut out again and then applied to the card.

A few squiggles, here and there, some added fun sayings.

A button on the front with copper edge and copper thread to tie it closed.

The back is all hand printed (sure wish I could use the computer some how for all of this)
Pertinent information and I drew some of my favorite little busy girls.

I will probably add some little saying that means a lot to me...(I love to collect quotes and have a ton over the years)

OK>...LET me know what you think...Good or Bad !!

The card is within the dimensions 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 and is a tri-fold, which is perfectly 'legal' with the ATC five O.

I was just logging off for the day and those three little letters (ATC) caught my eye. What a FABULOUS card!!!! I love, love, love it! bear_wub

Thank you everyone...I am sure I will change it but it is nice to know I am on the right trail.

I would love to make a beautiful one on the computer, with all that layering and pretty things...someday perhaps.

I have never done scrapbooking either...I am sure that would be a big help too!

You gals made me feel ...GOOD.....oooo, isn't there a song about that. Eh, I feel good!!!

I want to see some of yours now...come on get on the computer or grab some paper and glue.

I made mention of my trading cards in my kitten auction, so I had to get busy... bear_grin

Nancy, I love your ATC - it is very creative! I am sooo envious that you are able to play - I wish I could participate. Keep up the good work and I will be looking for more of your cards.
