I am making a bear for a friend who is decorating her daughter's room in purple and seafoam with a fairy theme. So I wanted to make her a "fairy" bear to display.
I need help choosing the eye color. The fur is a beautiful lilac color from Intercal and I have absolutely no idea what color to paint the eyes!
Any suggestions are very welcome!

It's kind of hard to know what would look best until you see the colours together...but darkish blue comes to my mind, because I would probably go for a contrast (but it depends how dark the fur is!). Maybe with some sparkle in there?!  :love:

Do you have a graphic programme you could play with, testing colours out side by side?

I think I would do shades of green, maybe a bit darker than seafoam.. and maybe put some purple accents into your eyes... but if you want them premade, I have no idea what to tell you    I think I would go for green, not forrest green... but you know what I mean..

Sounds like sparkle eyes would work well!  Howsabout a little silvery sparkle?  Pretty!!!

Great ideas here.  If I were doing a lavendar bear I think I would use blue eyes with sparkles. :dance:

If you're using a lavendar mohair, I'd go with a backing of white ultrasuede for the eye to show off the true colour.... I'll bet its going to be gorgeous once you're finished!
