Made from a rabbit pelt, this is the second bear I have made using a real fur. It was totally diffrent from the Lambs pelt I used to make Woolley and it sheds like you wouldn't believe
Tibbar is wonderful. I love the fur. I used a black rabbit fur for a panda and the pelt was so thin it just kept ripping so I vowed never to use rabbit again. I might have just changed my mind
Jane
Gorgeous bear, Patsy . . . the fur is stunning!
What sweet face...I have a lemon yellow rabbit pelt which I keep threatening to do something with....
Yours is a sweet sweet bear
Thank you Jane, Sue Ann and Jenny. Jenny I found it alot easier than I thought it was going to be, expect it sheds like anything and you get fur all over you, so don't do it when your preparing dinner. As you can imagine I was covered and being hot here made it a lot worse it was sticking to me.... I recommend you wear very old cloths or a plastic bag like Nance Tilburg suggests, but again being hot that was not an option for me.
I love this litttle bear Patsy! She is wonderful so soft and fluffy looking. Great job. She's gorgeous.

hugs,
Ooooh, rabbit!....allow me to scratch, itch and pull at imaginary fur up my nose and from my eyes with you That stuff sheds like nobody's business...and yes, it gets everywhere!!!
You've done a beautiful job with Tibbar though...such a cute name too I just love his face, and I'll bet he's kitty cat soft to hug
Absolutely beautiful baby bear Patsy!! Awesome job!
Many hugs Louise
That is the softest-looking bear I've ever seen. I just want to dive right into that fur. Really nice work!
Oh so soft and sweet... Tibbar is gorgeous, Patsy.
Cute Patsy!!
I love rabbit fur and this bear is so lovely and soft looking. When I was little and you could still buy rabbit fur coats in the ladies' stores, my mum would often lose me when we went shopping. She eventually learnt to find the fur coat racks and hunt along them - I'd be hiding right in the middle sucking my thumb and stroking all the soft bunny coats!!
Ahhhh Melissa, what a lovely picture that makes ... I can see you among the coats sucking your thumb and stroking them ....... it is amazingly soft fur but it sheds like you wouldn't believe .....
OH that looks like a hug waiting to happen. He looks great. you did a great job on him. His porportions are perfect.
Patsy, Tibbar is gorgeous, well done.
What a sweet, snuggly bear! She 's beautiful.
Is she hand-shaded, or are those the colors of the pelt?
I love rabbit . . . the cut ends shed like mad, but I haven't had any problem with shedding once they're enclosed.
Eileen
"sheds like you wouldnt believe"....... Yes I believe you!!! Did you get it up your nose? did it make you sneeze?
Love the colours. Beautiful pelt. Great bear!!
Matilda
Matilda I looked like a furry being by the time I had finished the cutting out and sewing up ..... you can imagine with the heat here what I was like and yes itchy nose wanting to scratch ... I love the feel of it so I guess I will be using it again.
