Thank you Judi i forgot to tell all the girls
You know Fran... I think lots of us here like cloth dolls! The constrauction, needlesculpting, etc... are oh so close to what we do with bears! In fact... much of what I have learned about needle sculpting has come directly from cloth doll making books!
Tell your sis that I think she's WONDERFUL!

hugs,
Fran! Oh my!! That is a beautiful doll!! What a doll!! Pun Pun! I love her!

Count me in as a cloth doll lover. Soft doll artists Susan Fosnot, Ella Haas, Lisa Lichtenfels, Shelley Thornton, and anything made of pressed felt (R. John Wright, Lenci, Maggie Iacono) come immediately to mind, even though they all have different styles.
Your sister's doll is just beautiful, and I hope you'll feel free to post more of her work when you feel inspired, occasionally, to do so. It is a close relative to our own work, as someone said before me, with all that stitching and needle sculpting and pattern creating, etc. And I would love it if the bear and doll industries could support and complement each other!
Thanks for sharing this very pretty and unique doll!
Fran, she is cool
Judy's work is awesome, Fran . . . what a doll!
I love her!! She is great, I wish I could afford to buy her for my sister Judi.
