hi!

I want to make baggy pants for my bear, but have only got patterns for classical pants...
Do i just have to make largers pieces or is there some specific patterns that works better?

Please, help!

Can someone give me a pattern i could use as a model?

Many thanks,
Beary hugs,
Sophie.

Hi Sophie,

You could redraw your pattern;

keeping the waiste the same, so that you do not have more fabric than is manageable around the waiste, draw out widely at the higs on the sides and then keeping the crotch the same add to your seam below the crotch seam....that should do it....

does this make sense to you?  I'm not sure if I explained it well...

Doing it this way you will be able to manage the waiste, but depending on how much you add to your patterns, you should have plenty of bag below the waiste.

Right, I did not understood everything... Was it "higs" you wanted to write? If yes, I did not find that word in my dictionnary...

Thanks for helping!

Beary hugs,
Sophie.

You must be right, shantell: that does make sense!
Thank you very much!
I will try Dilu's technic as soon as I have finished the waist coat! One piece after the other!

Beary hugs,
Sophie.
