Does anyone have the January/February issue of Teddy Bear & Friends mag?  Apparently a pic of one of my bears is in the Bruins n Buddies section (Maurice, the same as in my avatar) - I'd love to see it if anyone has the time to do a scan as the mag takes so long to make its way down here to Australia!!

I agree with Daphne, I think it's much more traumatic for us than it is for the doggie.  I remember I was a mess when we had Woodley done and got a shock when I first saw his stitches, but Woodley took it all in his stride.  Don't worry, you are doing the best thing for Pippin - he'll need some TLC when he first comes home, but he'll be right as rain in a couple of days - they get over it really quick.  I'll be thinking on your little boy on Monday  :hug:

I don't have any suggestions to offer you Shelli, but I just wanted to say that I find the computer one of my biggest distractions.  I only have a few hours a day that I can do bearmaking and 9/10 times I end up spending it on the computer!!  I bring out all my bear stuff with the best of intentions and end up tapping away on the laptop instead

What a gorgeous bundle of joy, congratulations again  :clap:   Labor is very intense isn't it.  I felt all my contractions down the front of my legs and I just couldn't believe how painful it was     How long was your labor?

Sorry to dredge this subject up again, but I'm finally in a position to look at sewing machines this weekend!  I've decided I'll get a Janome - I just wanted to ask those who have a Janome what model you have?

Have you looked on ebay?  I've seen sheepskin pieces on there before.  Good luck
