 Best of luck in your new artistic pursuits Jane!!! Here's hoping you can come back to your bears later though
I've seen this Flaming Bear in action in the past...and its not a pretty picture I almost took a look at that topic as I was going down the page, saw it was FlamingBear and completely skipped the whole thing. The name says it all. Whoever this person is, they only live to rile people up. It in their nature to stir the pot and watch what happens. With the 'anoymity' of the internet, they tend to do this fairly frequent.
I'm so sorry you've been caught out by this person's nastiness. There are nasties in every corner of the world, and I'm not sure this 'Flaming' person is really who they claim to be when it comes to teddy bears. How can they be?? They miss the whole heart and soul of a teddy bear!
Big bear hugs to you
I don't know how some people could eat lamb

With a knife and a fork ~ pass on that mint stuffs, though! Grilled lamb is beyond delicious. But just like there are meat bunnies and pet bunnies, its the same with sheep, at least for me. Some are pets, some for the dinner table.
Rachel's Jolene is absolutely gorgeous!!! Awwwhhh, what brilliant pics of her following your children I know nothing about sheep, but can see she's easily a heartstealer.

Same here, I measure from the stretched out feet to the top of the head, not the ears.
Welcome to Teddy Talk :bday:
  Way to go Judi!!!!
She's beautiful!!!!!!!  Congratulations on your youngest daughter
Same here, I leave out the steel shot bit, but I list it as a toy teddy bear, jointed. That way they'll know there's weird wire bits in there, but its supposed to be because its a teddy bear.
Oh NO!!! That's such a shame as you'd just gotten your home as you like it. I'm so sorry this has happened Sophie, but what a SuperMan Malko is for saving all those appliances
Wow he must be strong to shift all those heavy appliances like that!!
I would have completely forgotten the cars too in the hurry to save the things in the house  Let's hope your insurance company will help to sort your car
Glad to hear she's perking up and welcome to the world little Jonathan :bday:
Awwhhh, the bestest of friends And what mischief are those two planning?
  Congratulations Sophie!!!  Free advertising is always a good thing But I'm another who would pop by to chat with them about the article. They really should know that they need permission to take your photos for a magazine. Even if they are just starting out. Someone else might not look so kindly on their photos or information being taken without permission.
I grew up with all sorts of the older cartoons, Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, Heckle and Jeckle, Woody Woodpecker, Scooby Doo.... makes it sound like all I did was sit and watch cartoons
.....oooh, now I'm drooling over the possibilities with that fur!!! Ooooh, purple too
Judi's Queen of the Airbrush, so she'd know best. But I do remember her saying practice, practice, practice.....and then go practice some more to get the best results from your airbrush.
Awwhhhh, just look at those feet
 Don't worry, Penelope will be coming back soon better than new. And I do think its a good idea to alert the store owner as they'll want to know about Penelope's injury.
My childhood siamese Bandit adored water. But I don't think this particular kitty is fond of the wet stuff. How kind of the dog to come and help out
Well people will use Bid4Bears the more it is promoted and placed in front of their faces, and the less Ebay gets used.
Sounds like the buyers really don't care now that the feedback system has been altered. Not that its surprising....
 Lovely idea Lynette !!! I do hope the contest can come to fruition.
   FANTASTIC!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
She definitely made me smile
Awwwhhh Someone's done a really nice job with those costumes

Ironically I sew by hand and I've used nothing but Coats & Clark's the whole time. I ferret out their button thread for the most strength and durability, and I can say its held up beautifully! I've had one of my bears attacked by a beagle puppy (and it took years before I had the truth from the owners ) The fur didn't hold up to the puppy, but the lining and the stitching did.
Its interesting to learn about the Guttermans and the Mettler's though. I'd thought the Guttermans was 'fuzzier' the last time I bought threads.
   So straight from the horse's mouth .... toooo funny about your son, Jane    Bless!
