That is too sweet. I studied Harry Harlow's experiments in college with rhesus monkeys who clung to the stuffed monkey vs the wire one that had the food (it was a study on separation, isolation and the behavioral development of baby monkeys - I hated to read about it!). In this video, it is a happy event for the monkey has the comfort of the stuffed bear plus being fed.
Well now Karon, you next have to post pictures taken with your new camera. I too am looking for one. I just spent a lot of money buying a new washer/dryer and a diswasher. Funny how things wear out together. So next month a camera is on my list.
Take pictures- lots of them. Let us see them.
Well that is interesting. Love it.

I too love Jennylovesbenny for amine bear patterns. I bought two of her bears and both turned out to be adorable.
Pat wrote: Thats a good thing, me, I am so bad that when I can't find something i go out and buy it again.
Pat I am the same way. I can't find something, I go out and buy another one. It is not worth the headache of searching for it. I really need to get organized!!!
Try cleaning it off with alcohol. Try it on a scrap piece of fur first. But it works wonders in getting ink out of my clothes.
Hello Deb: I'm thrilled you joined the TT group. So are you back to sewing mini's again. If so, post some pictures.
oh my goodnes...how cute is that!!! Adorable.
Hello Teddy Bear Friends: A friend of mine is a professional artist. She makes dolls and paints pictures of them. She wants to explore doing doll making classes but wants to research and talk to other doll makers. I know many bear artist also make dolls. So here are my questions:
-What are comparable forums in dolls (like our Teddy Talk) where she can connect with other doll makers?
-Can anybody recommend people she can talk to ask her questions about delving into giving doll workshops? -Who are famous doll artists (cloth or porcelain) and do they have websites that she can look up.
Thank you all for your time.
Well that is just adorable. I recently became enamored with anime bears too. Something about the big head that makes them so sweet...
Dear Lenora: I am so sorry to hear of your son being in a serious accident. Many prayers coming his way...
Dear Lenora: How awful for you and your son. Many prayers coming your way. Keep us posted.
Chico is so adorable...My goodness...I want one too!!!
oh I love Ted Menton's work. I wondered what became of him...Thanks Daphne for posting the blog.
That brings a smile to my face. Cute video!
awww.....
I'm so glad you are getting a new puppy! Congratulations. I like Sue Annes name Bandito or Bandit. He has that bandit mask doesn't he? If you want more suggestions, how about the name Augustus (Gus, Gus for short). I had a Carine Terrier named Augustus Pegasis and we called him Gus as a nick name.
They are adorable.
Bobbie Wrote: Michelle, I've met you several times in person, so I KNOW that this isn't true, but in seeing your images just now and comparing the one of you in your mohair stash to your avatar, it would appear that you have a 'Bear-Making Uniform'!!
Actually they were taken on the same day! Good eye there Bobby. I needed photos for work on an award I was recieving and they wanted pictures of us surrounding our hobbies and interests....As you can see, my cats and bears are my ture joys in life....

Edie: same with me. To life a fork or spoon was difficult. I blame it on exercise. I hired a personal trainer to help me get into shape. She had me using weights that were too heavy for me and I got tendonitis in both arms. I am now a confirmed couch potato believing any form of exercise is dangerous to my health!
Oh horrors of horrors! Did you hear a thunk? That was me falling off my chair...I need my smelling salts!!!
Wow...that is really art isn't it? Fun website....
Becky wrote:Buy a box of disposable surgical masks at the pharmacy and wear them when you're trimming the fur from the seam allowances (maybe even when you're cutting out the pieces). Breathing in a lot of tiny fur fibers is hard on the old lungs.
Also wear the masks when stuffing too...
love this picture!!
