I am sooo thrilled for you
Millie most of us make our own, they need to be a certain dimention 468 x 72 pixels.
I used Photo shop, but you could use any graphics program to do one.
They are also fun to make, and can help you to create your own look.
If you need any help just email me, though I am not an expert on PS.
I am happy to help.
Oh, that's FANTASTic Kassie,
I am not at all surprised though your work is truly amazing
Not beiong very experienced at shows, the last one I did I was asked to hold a bear, so I hid it behind others for her.
Time passed and she hadn't returned and other lady came up and said "what is this bear doing hidding behind there",
and she wanted to buy it.
I didn't know what to do, but seeing as the other lady hadn't turned up I agreed to sell it.
The first lady came back and said I sold the bear to her friend.
She was really nice about it, so I sold her the one that was on the competition table that had won in it's section for the same price.
Everyone was happy in the end, but I wish I had thought about holding for a definate time or asking for a deposit.
I would love to also jennie, as soon as I wake up.

I already added you Marls, found your Banner here on TT, right clicked and Save As.... and hey Presto I had your banner.
You can do the same with mine, or I could send it to you.
Nancy is great for helping, I did the photography coarse with her and improved heaps.
It might be the wether Lisa, I have been feeling like that all this summer.
One thing that got me going was to jump in and do a Challenge here on TT.
I found it very exciting just being involved, it was great getting the brain ticking over again.
And what I enjoyed most was being involved with fellow bear artists.
I would love to swap links with you Marls, do you have a banner I could add ?
It doesn't matter if you don't, but I think banners are instantly recognisable.
Hi Patsy. Your website is looking good
Though my web address is
http://www.realdealbears.com
I have changed from the freewebs freewebs
Denise, I am always happy to help another, though I am not sure I would be the best person to ask as I am just learning myself.
Marls, your Blog is great, isn't Geneaology exciting. I have an old locket of my Great Aunt Lily, I will have to pass it on to my Daughter.
I am sending you an email with the picture.
Well, I finally went and did it!!!!!
I created my first Blog page. I am usually someone with very little to say, but couldn't resist the urge any longer when I found an old photo of my Auntie with a Teddy Bear. The photo must be about 70 - 75 years old, any information on the bear would be appreciated.
Also, let me know if I am on the right track with a Blog, still trying to work out how to put backgrounds in.
You can find it here http://www.realdealbears.com/blogalongwithchris.htm
I am also a freewebs user, though I have never had the need to use there suport as it is so well explained.
Any problems too and there are alot of us here that use it and are only too willing to help.
Looking forward to see you up and running
Oh Mary, what a character he is, and what a great combination of black and white

Kim, when I first saw this bear on BAO I was soooo in love, he is just amazing
A BIG Congratulations!!!!
Oh My!!!! I could not imagine going out when it's that terrible, I do hope you all drive slow and be safe.
We had snow for a few days where i live a couple of years ago, and I was scared of walking to the letter box because it was so slippery.
And that wasn't even an inch of snow
What a ;ovely place Denise, hope your all settled in now
Oh Peta, thats fantastic news
I have been waiting impatiently to here if you got in or not.
Way to go Peta
I am wondering if they are getting the patterns from Magazines, I know some of them looked like ones I had seen in Australian Bear creations.
Thankyou for the heads up Karen,
As I am starting to put knitting patterns for mini's on my site, I will have to keep a look out.
Congratulations Carolyn!!!! Great article
Oh THANKYOU sooo much
It's my first ever project, and I have yet to see it.
I was wondering why my subscriptions were not arriving, only to find that the cheque was hidden under a great pile of paper work.
The Good news is that the FREE pattern is now on my website, and I will be adding other knitting patterns over the next week.
I was quiet reluctant to sell my knitting patterns, as I know that one or two people would copy them and resell them on Ebay.
I have however had such interest that I finally figure that why should all the nice people miss out because of one or two not so nice ones.
So I am going to release a few as a trial, and if all goes well I will release more.
I do hope you like the project.... oh I am sooo chuffed
YUKKKKK!!!!!!! Would anyone eat it????????
Hi Jane, I have never done teeth myself, but I thought this might be of some help.

What a fantasic costume
Stunning!!!!!!!
Hi Peta, congratulations on gaining the first step to getting into Uni.
As I have been through it, I know what a headache it can be just to get this far.
I agree that drawings and sketch books are very important to have in your portfolio.
They will also be looking for passion, someone they think will go the distance, so try to look as professional as you can and invest in a proper portfolio.
A good thing I think for you to have is not only one of your bears, but to show them how the bear was conceived, from sketch to finished product.
Don't feel like you have to compete with those straight out of secondary collage, as here in Oz they allocate so many places for mature age students.
I hope I haven't repeated too much that has been said before, as I am still half asleep and just wizzed over the other posts.
Still need more coffee.
Good Luck, and you go girl and show them how talented you are.
