stop, stop ... i'm so confused. i'll have to only visit places where there's a picture to point at!
Shari ~ Sounds like maybe they're a little understaffed, if they can't even get it straight.
Denise ~ I've never used it, but I see there is an Answer Center section of Ebay where you can try to find answers from other Ebayers, rather from Ebay itself. http://pages.ebay.com/community/answercenter/index.html Right toward the beginning is a person who entitled his post "keyword spamming". I'm thinking users might be more helpful than Ebay.
Kim ~
Yep ... Coke, Pepsi ... it's all soda here. However, having spent several years in Michigan, pop is also familiar to me. I might order a rootbeer float OR an ice cream soda, with float being specific to rootbeer (at least on the menus). Go figure.
Ohhh Jane ~
Every bear which I do is unique - even as all people have passed away, thus also are my bears, but with the individual character of every bear you can assure that there is a smile on her face.
The word roadkill comes to mind. Drive carefully today! No backing over bears.
ooo, he's cute. just stay tuned to animal plant. eventually they'll have a quokka special on. i love that channel.
OF COURSE it's okay! What do you do that you talk on phone all day?
Me either Dilu. I guess we'll have to watch more Britcoms (which I love anyway) and Bridget Jones's Diary one or two more times.
Has to be a British/American dictionary for the English language somewhere. I'll start lookin'.
I was just doing some shopping at Intercal.com and noticed the menu item on the left called English-Style Specials, and in other places, references to the Norton mill closing. Does this mean they'll be carrying only the Hembold? Norton Weaving is still in the Who's Who section.
Hey ... the Gollies really did get her! I knew they would eventually!
Hurray for our Dilulubelle!  So proud of you ... just like havin' 50 Moms.
Yikes! And I swore I was going to have bear done LAST Saturday. (She's been a bit difficult.) Almost there though ... that's what happens when you try something new and have big learning curve.
Oh Eileen, I love that story about the date! And the one about your special critter.
I swerved to miss a squirrel a bit ago. I looked in the rear-view mirror to see if it was alright and make sure (like I could do anything about it) that the car behind me didn't hit it. It was then that I hit the stupid curb, ruined two tires and two wheel cover. (Big sigh.)
Hayley, yup I'm aware of the diff. The white rat was not for sale; it belonged to the store (owner). I don't think they knew she was pregnant when she bolted. It was unfortunate. I remember they looked for a bit after they realized she was gone, to no avail. Gosh, that was long time ago. Great pics. Love the kangaroos. Is there a Disney character Kanga (and little Roo)? Winnie the Pooh maybe. Now I'm going to have to go check.
Yup ... and here they are!
Eileen ~ Are you crazy girl? You like rats? They just creep me out.
I worked at a pizza place when I was in high school. Went out back one night to pick up the supplies that had been delivered. Was walking through the back room, couldn't see where I was going and tripped. Dropped supplies, whipped around just in time to see a rat about 10" long, excluding the tail jump at me. Through supplies in the fridge, turned oven off, walked out.
THEN ... was helping my sister move a pet store. Lost a white rat. Didn't think much of it really. Thought it was the male. Nope ... it was the pregnant female. Few months later, my sis called me from work. Heard a noise and went down a few steps with a flashlight into the basement. She doesn't scare easily ... but got chills up her spine when all she could see were about 100 glowing eyes. Before it was over, we had trapped 75 rats. Eww!
I did almost hit a red fox on my way home from work last night. It was big for a fox (at least the ones I've seen around here) and was really pretty. We also have coyotes in the area. One family lost their kitty. We put up a fenced area for our doggies.
A couple years ago, a fellow up the street had a bear that kept visiting his back yard. Smallish, black bear.
Occasionally, we have deer in the back yard.
That's it for the wildlife around here ... except for the racoons and squirrel and such.
She's great Jenny. And I love the sweater. Did you make it?
VERY cool!
Glad you're back Jane! Stay well!
Perhaps next teddy won't have to suffer such horrible abuse.
Heather ~
So do you take the eye out before you bake? Or bake eye with the clay?
I've been thinkin' and thinkin' all day and I think I have a solution for this one. I hope so!
I’ve stepped away from the bear before for my sake, but never for the bear’s sake until this morning. I was seriously worried I’d hurt her (yes, intentionally).
I wasn’t going to try &%$ eyelids, but changed my mind. Couldn’t pull leather through with 10” doll needle. Had leather crimped to the needle eye hoping it would pull through. HA! Got the bottom in and glued in place. Top is in on one side, dangling on the other. Looks stupid anyway. I don’t like it. Eyelids are retarded.
There … I feel better.
Grrrrrrrrr!
Got it; I am forever in your debt!
LL ~
Poor Jimmie, poor Jimmie. Hopefully won't get beaten badly post race. Just don't touch the face!
Great bear Lynne ~ and by the way ~ that's what a good discussion board is supposed to do! Hurray for Intercal for letting us hang out here!
Whatcha doin' today?
I'm going to finish this if it kills me. Drink a few pots of coffee. Look out the back door at the deck that didn't get stained.
Do a teddy photo shoot. Work on polar bear pattern. Watch an old movie or two.
Have a good day!
