Your work is always exquisite
I just want to pick her up and give her a cuddle
I"m another who would lurrrrve to join in, but alas, I'm no where near Colorado. You ladies have a blast over there!!! :bday:
Awwwwhhhhh!!!
  Congratulations!!! What an adorable bear
I thought the whole point to the TOBYs was that Teddy Bear & Friends subscribers were the only ones to vote for the Public choice. ? Why should doll readers be voting on this?? I don't particularly care that the Doll magazine is owned by the same people, this should be a teddy bear contest by and for teddy bear people. That's not saying Doll people are excluded from loving teddy bears, but in my opinion, it should remain as a vote with the subscribers as tradition through the cards in the magazine.
Cool!!!! Those water drop photos are waaaaay neat, Tammy! Thank you for doing such a great explaination. I have a Canon PowerShot A60, and have only just 'shot from the hip' as it were. Now that you've explained to look for the Av setting, I see mine has that. I'll have to play with it We have some sunshine for the first time in ages, so I'll play around with taking pics later today.
I bet its a typo. Why don't one of you contact them directly and ask
Awwwhhhhh What a heartmelter!
I think humans tend to get hung up on the names they give various training collars, so much so that they're afraid to say what they use. A decent trainer will use the appropriate collar that's needed to get the results for you and your pup. If Dakota pays attention to the Pinch collar (named for the inventor, not that it pinches), then use it.
I agree, get to a different trainer who will be able to help you and Dakota. The sooner you can train her, the easier it will be on her and you both. Can't agree more ~ large dogs can injure people in no time flat.
I've done photo backups after my own brother lost treasured photos of his baby years ago. Its a hard way to learn a lesson.
Oooh, you are so lucky to have such lovely houseguests
I bet they really brighten your home
  Congratulations on winning Godfrey!!! Looks like he's got friends already
  Thank you for sharing your :photo: Daphne!!! What a lovely venue, and how nice to hear people were still adopting new cubs. Nice to see
Its a smart business move for Steiff, to be sure. Only time will tell if they continue to make the mohair available to the public....though I rather hope they do  Being Steiff, I cannot see the quality ever going down on the mohair.
Really?? I'm so amazed at all the stuff this new technology can do. Half the time I expect it can toast bread while you're waiting for a page to load
Hubby's gone to 'kick the tires' so to speak on a unit tonight. We'll see if he drags it home, then the real fun begins.
How awful!!!! I don't have the magazine, or I'd be giving you mine. I sure hope you find a replacement soon  And I hope your hubby improves and can come home soon
Wow!!! You guys n gals are great!!!!    You've answered my questions beautifully
And its soooo nice to know I've got company when it comes to being technically challenged. Yep, I'm the same Miss Bossy Boots who wants to learn it all herself. And I agree, the best programs I have on Vista are things like Quicktime. Its not an option currently, but I so want our next laptop to be an Apple/Mac. I'm beyond fed up with the glitches of Vista, but that's something altogether different.
Thanks again, and its so good to hear from you
 Beautiful work Brenda!!! The fox works fantastic for Julius
I started by selling to coworkers and friends of the family as well as to my own family when I started. It was a real boost for those first sales....made me feel like I really was making the beautiful bears I thought
Pricing is always a bugga bear, though. And its not just for how much to price teddy... that goes for anything retail. If you can find similar size/type bears to what you are doing, and see what ballpark they go for, it might be a place to start your pricing. Do not forget to keep in mind your own costs for supplies at the least. I didn't write everything down, but I did some mental maths to ensure I was making enough bears from the coats I was getting to make sure my hobby wasn't going to kick me out of house n home.
 thank you for posting pictures of George in his new home :photo: Looks like he's settled in quickly and what fantastic new companions. The sun on his fur, and a lovely view....Life doesn't get much better than this
 Hi all!!! :bday: So sorry to have been away for ages n ages n ages. Work has made me have to put my poor teddies into retirement
but today I was working on a bear in secret ...shhhhh
I have a question that I'm hoping you all can help me with. I've gone into the computer age kicking and screaming ~ literally. Now hubby and I are faced with needing to download a lot of discourses that are hours long. So we looked at an iPod. We have a Microsoft Vista. The question is, how does the iPod recharge itself?? And does Vista automatically know how to get the downloads from our computer onto the iPod? Ouch! My head hurts just thinking of this stuffs, but if I can figure out how to do a website, surely I can get my head around this whole iPod concept.
Big beary hugs!!! And I hope you're all having a lovely Spring
Whilst cruising CafePress, I came across this gem! http://cards.cafepress.com/item/mens-ho … /135766530
