I bought some of that KIss yarn and it dose feel just like rabbit, I made a bear ( not done ) it will drive you batty trying to find the  stitches and even if you do...can't take them out, he. he So...make your critter out of something else first to get the pattern down then make it in KIss...Winney

Wild Cat ..I know where you live..I use to travel thet Hwy 20 nearly everyday going from Lebenon to Albany ..didn't you see me whizz by ??? He, He,, Scio..ewww do you remember the pig farm along the Hwy there???.. very stinky ,we'd roll up the windows til we passed that part. Kids would squeel like pigs just for fun.

Maybe you can use a Dremel tool and cut the tounge out then repleace it with an ultrasuede one ?...Winney

Hey Wildcat...someone else lives there in the Willamette Valley...can't remember who but she is on ths board...escapes me for  now...

We are not quite as wet here in the medford area , it's more like N. California weather..but it does get hot usually for at least 2 weeks out of the year. last year was almost unbearable...reminded me of Mohave...agh! My brother lives up in Forest Grove , his weather is also wetter. I have a place to stay there ( free) if I go up to Portland for anything.

I really think you aught to come up here in Oct. to the Lincoln show..you will never want to go back home after being at the Oregon Coast..I use to live in PIco Revira , Camp Pendelton Vist..areas where it got soooo hot...but I believe the Mohave Desert has anyplace beat for heat...it just makes me sick and drains me out flat...he, he...Winney

Alita, are you going to have a table  of your bears to sell at the show? I hear its hard to get one...they sort of have their pick of  artists of who they want to have,,,,and  then there is only just so much room.

I love where they hold the show,beautiful coast.... It makes a nice min ivacation for me and hubby...and now I have some time to save up for it...can't wait !

Intercal and Edinburgh are always there with their wonderful furs...so you get to touch and feel the fur ! 
I love getting around to all the artists to see their bears  and visit with them...this is one show NOT to miss!.Winney

I agree with all of you who are selling well...that is what I'd would like to do ....but my question is what would you do if you had my problem ????????
They are not even going to let me bid on to buy something. I have tried to resolve this but they are not listening ....

Oh...For those of you who have not done it...I sure would set up a seperate bank account for Pay Pal and connect that to Ebay activities just for your bears........Winney

Wow you all.... My brother just bought me the very basic  Photoshop Elements 2.0 off Ebay..I just love it but don't know what I am doing so...today we went to Barne and Nobles and I got a very visual book that will teach me 100 tips and how to use it. I am so excited !!! I will try to learn at least one new this a day. Hmmm, I need to go look at this topic that is the first thread Shelli posted....I want to learn this so bad... Winney

The more I hear about problems selling bears on Ebay the more convinced I should never sell on there!
Don't we have enough other web sites that are fairly new that support selling  artists bears? I have a feeling that
this is where it is going.....and it sure would be a lot safer for us ! I dislike all the negative stuff ..it puts a whole
new meaning to the word " stuffed" when you get taken on Ebay and they don't seem to care much about protecting the sellers.
I have only bought 3 times on Ebay and have never sold, however....One day I got an e-mail that said a seller was offering me a " second chance" to buy as the first buyer fell thru. Whaaa??? How did they get me mixed up in this ?

I found out what NOT to do...don't use the SAME password for your Ebay and your e-mail...That is a very common trick to do.

The thief typed into my yahoo mail address to sign in ...then how he found out my password ...he just clicked on FORGOT PASSWORD...they then mailed it to him !  Clever...so then he used that password on Ebay , figuring it may be the same as my Ebay password and it was ! My stupid error.

My account is also connected to my Pay Pal but I used a different password for that so he could not tap into that.
OK...once I got that piece of mail I contacted Ebay...they shut my account down temporarly until I changed the passwords then my account was suppose to be OK, she said so on the phone........... NOT......

I recently tried to bid on something and I was closed out , what figures is they still have not cleared this thing up completely. So....I contacted them on 2 more seperate occasions.... Same results, I get the same generic e-mail back , I cannot use my account until I do something...problem is I have already done what they require.

now Pay Pal has been disconnected because of this! Can I say CRAP???
I have not committed any crime but look who has to pay ? Why can't they clear this simple thing up ? I am so frustrated with the whole thing I feel like just signing off there.....What would you do ?....Winney

I uninstalled then installed. Found the Epson website...I will  wait to call someone before I download any updates...I dont know if I need an update or not and if I did... which one ? so....til Monday
