Penny  watch you don't get stuck in the glue
Chrissie  thank you so much for the compliment
I love you all for taking the time to comment
Dilu,
They are all beautiful - I truly cannot decide which one I like most - whoever is the lucky person is going to be over the moon.
Oh btw I always wanted those with the weekdays - the budget did not run to them
Now I do not think anyone makes them
SO I spent hours hunched up glue - ing, snipping, cursing (the guilletine is soo hard to use!! ) and some hours and sticky fingers later this is what I have come up with and I have put them both on bid4bears - jsut hoping that someone will take pity on me and maybe even  do a swap ??
SO here for your comments if you care to make them are :
Pretty Panda
and Sweet Rose
They really are not as artistic as all you other creators but I did enjoy making them

Well done Hayley - what an excellent bear

Hi Winney,
Great to see you back
- hope you are feeling much better and there is continued improvement for you
Hi Haley,
I made a miniature mermaid just before Christmas - she has a picture posted in the miniature postings if you want to have a look. I used wiring in the tail and put it in through the waist if you know what I mean - which is where I joined the wire and then stitched the edge of the stuffed tail to the body at the waistline to cover. the body was a whole body without legs and mostly stuffed to give me a sort of egg shape to fit into the tail. I wired the tail and fins to allow posing - I whip stitched the wire to the seams of the tail with fins which was made with a stretchy shiny jersey type fabric (dancers costume fabric - so there was most likely lycra content in it) Hope this makes sense. The little boy who got it for Christmas loved it so I think the final look was okay.
Hope this is a little help to you
Oh dear made a mess!!
Posted picture at the beginning - will post my dear little Patty's picture her at this end of the post too

Here is Patty O'Malley - my absolutely darling bear from Erika of Fuzzbutt Bears in Ohio
He is terrific and such a character - he even pooped out of his travel accommodation to say hello to the customs folk here
I love him Erika, thank you so much for swapping - I can hardly wait to see what you think of your little bear when he arrives

Thank you so much Kim and Kimberley for the encouragement - I actually believe that I can learn stuff by trying things out - but sometimes what a sight
but I am getting good at makeovers
Clare,
I agree with Amanda and the others http://www.photobucket.com
is great for picture hosting - remember for a template you will have to host any background picture and any other graphics you want to use for the template
for web templates which are very simple and can be adapted this site has acouple which are easy to change :
http://auctionsupplies.com/templates/
You can edit this by bringing the code into Notepad - save as a filename.html to your own hard disk
Got to yor browser window and click on file open - find the file and confirm the load to the browser by clicking on appropriate buttons - this lets you see the overall picture of the template you have saved.
You can now play around with the file in notepad - make changes, save, click on the reload button on the browser menu bar and see what has happened.
To assist you in using html there are great tutorials on http://w3schools.co.uk
Hope this helps - I use a simple free template which I have adapted by being able to change the html code (I actually teach this so I flippin should be able to
) and belive me html code is easy to learn
Hi Penny
More food for thought
Todays clue which is clue number 5 is :
I hear the faint tap-tapping of a tiny hammer
SO are you any further on ??
Oh by the way - clue number 3 I think I was so excited I made a mistake
It should read :
Clue no:3 Four legs TWO Heads- could it be a Monster!!
I am working soo soo hard to finish this!!

Anne
Hi Mary,
I just love your little creations
Welcome to TT
Once again,
Thank you all so much for helping with this one
I feel much better about him now thank you for the lovely comments on the new version
I just so like to experiment to try and improve my little ones looks and to try my hand at new things
Penny I will take your advice - maybe in the summer when I have more time I will try the eyes again with needle felting - great tip thanks  - though I doubt I will be able to get a look like your bear
It will be a while however before I try doll eyes again - it will take me some time to recover
Hi Amelia,
I think you are so brave trying patches like this - my pandas all have had hand coloured patches using the equivalent of Karisma artist pencils - I get a darker colour by using the pencils with water so it is a bit like a water colour.
So I am sorry but I cannot help with insert panda patches - however I am sure that if you try a search on TT using the words panda patches - there has been a posting about them before - Paula (All Bears) had great suggestions I think and of course there were others I jsut cant remember who.
Hope you find what you are looking for
Hi Penny,
Well to save you getting too irrated with the clues - here is clue number 4 (have to say though it may be regionally sensitive but I think it will help loads
Zippy and Bungle live here too
I can only hope that the end product is acceptable to you
There is always the chance that when it arrives you will hate it !!
I can however confirm that it is not a green opera singing panda - sorry about that - the time was too short for the singing lessons
I have to think of another clue for tomorrow

Claire, I am so pleased little Holly is getting a little better I will still be think positive thoughts for her health
