Blossom is a little unusual in that she's got a very high play drive when it comes to toys. So I brought out a play radio for her to look at while I was filling her water trough.
What'cha got?
Oooh, what is it?
Its making a noise...
Can I eat it?
Hmmm....maybe this way..
....at which point she pushed the buttons so many times the poor thing jammed, and didn't play anything... "Mummy fix it!"
It did work after just a few minutes of letting it set. But that was just about all the time we had for the toy...and yes, its safely back out of her field, and well out of reach
Debbie...I am soooo in love with Blossom..have been from the very first stories about here...and have followed her saga all along...what...she didn't start dancing to the music immediately....lol what a beauty she is!!!! love this new adventure!!! Thanks for sharing again!!!
Hugs to you & Blossom &
No dancing this time...she was too busy playing musician, pushing all those cool buttons. Maybe next time she'll start a little dance
I'll give her a hug from you, she just loves a cuddle  ...which is a good thing given how many times I hug her in a day
Blossom is beautiful. How cute are those photos too. You must be so proud of having such a beautiful girl Debbie, Give her a hug from me too.
Hugs Jane.
 Will do Jane, off to give her the morning oatmeal shortly..
Oh, I love these pics Debbie! Blossom certainly is a special girl......you lucky horse-mom, you!
Tracy I really do count my lucky stars with her....she's such a unique pony... and she's only a baby still. She just turned her first year in May, and she's sooooo tuned in with my moods. She really knows how to cheer me up, and she can sense when my kidneys are giving me troubles, and she handles with care when another horse or pony would take advantage
She really is something special
How are your horses doing with the turn of the weather?
She's so lovely!! I am so envious.
this is me:
Awwwhhhh... Kim, that pic was me for most of my life! Even if I was taking care of others' horses n ponies.... Santa didn't see fit to bring me a pony til last Christmas ~ and then he made up for 35 years of asking for a pony
How are your horses doing with the turn of the weather?
Ah.....my girls are doing just fine! They've got good, thick coats on them.....and a nice fat layer as well! And they each have a cozy stall in the barn they can come and go freely from. Have I mentioned they're a bit spoiled?
I love my girlies!
Wow, Blossom was born to be yours, Debbie.......it was meant to be! That is sooo cool how she is with you!

I am NEVER gonna be that good......
there is a twinkle of hope though - Andy's got a new job that can
finally let us think about moving & buying a place...
a place with acres...
And so it begins!!!
Begin whining now, and plotting for that pony Kim...hubby will have to give in
Tracy, yep, I do count my lucky stars with her....really wishing I'd had the time to put a decent fat layer on her before going into winter, though. I didn't realize how much Lady Bear had kept her from the grub
Blossom has grown into a beautiful young lady, Debbie! You are a lucky horse Mom. It's fun to see her play, Thanks for posting the pictures.
Awww, Kim - I hope you get your pony some day! Meanwhile this is for you:

HA!
WOW Bonnie what a looker! She's gorgeous!! is she a saddlebred or something?
I'm terrible with horse types. wish my legs were that long...
all I got to share is my friend's rescue mule, who I got to name.
He's half draft horse, so he's ginormous.
Here is Malcolm, admire his bunny ears:
he's looking to be placed in a permanent home
Debbie, Blossom is so coooool!
She looks like an outgrown dog, with what you can have lots of fun....
WONDERFUL!!!
Bonnie, your horse is what I always dreamt of: love these big spots.
Kim, a mule! Lovelyjovely! I guess they are really sweet, rigth??
Gaby
OOPs, I didn't mean to mislead you but that picture isn't my horse though I wish it was. I just looked up a nice pony picture for Kim. I thought this one looked like just the sort of horse one might wish for, all saddled up and ready to go.
I used have several horses but had to sell them a few years ago. Long story, but they all have happy homes now so thats okay.
Malcolm is a beautiful mule Kim! Is he ride-able? Some people around here like mules to ride better than horses, especially for hunting. My brother-in-law used to have couple and they certainly had colorful personalities.
She is lovely Debbie. It is nice when you have them from a youngster as they get to know and trust you from an early age.I have a highland pony and she is 26 now and I have had her from the age of one.She is a grumpy so and so but I am used to it
I also have a shetland and I had her from a year and she is now 16 she is lovely too-she likes to escape from fields though and has been known to pull out the electric fencing posts with her teeth-caught her out one day!I have loaded a piccie of the shetland.Notice that she has a small door so she can see out when she is stabled
Laurie
Awwwwhhhh...Malcom's adorable! I just love those big ears
And what a sweet expression he has....
Laurie, Love your diddy pony too I've yet to see a shetland that wasn't cute
And how thoughtful to have a small door so she can see out too.
