Blossom is a little unusual in that she's got a very high play drive when it comes to toys.  So I brought out a play radio for her to look at while I was filling her water trough.

What'cha got?
BlossomNov06_005.jpg

Oooh, what is it?
BlossomNov06_007.jpg

Its making a noise...
BlossomNov06_008.jpg

Can I eat it?
BlossomNov06_011.jpg

Hmmm....maybe this way..
BlossomNov06_014.jpg

BlossomNov06_016.jpg

....at which point she pushed the buttons so many times the poor thing jammed, and didn't play anything...  bear_cry "Mummy fix it!"

BlossomNov06_021.jpg

It did work after just a few minutes of letting it set.  But that was just about all the time we had for the toy...and yes, its safely back out of her field, and well out of reach  bear_original

bear_grin  bear_laugh  No dancing this time...she was too busy playing musician, pushing all those cool buttons.  Maybe next time she'll start a little dance  bear_original

I'll give her a hug from you, she just loves a cuddle  ...which is a good thing given how many times I hug her in a day  bear_wub

bear_wub Tracy I really do count my lucky stars with her....she's such a unique pony... and she's only a baby still.  She just turned her first year in May, and she's sooooo tuned in with my moods.  She really knows how to cheer me up, and she can sense when my kidneys are giving me troubles, and she handles with care when another horse or pony would take advantage  bear_flower   She really is something special  bear_wub

How are your horses doing with the turn of the weather?

Ah.....my girls are doing just fine!  They've got good, thick coats on them.....and a nice fat layer as well! bear_rolleyes  And they each have a cozy stall in the barn they can come and go freely from.  Have I mentioned they're a bit spoiled? bear_grin I love my girlies! bear_wub

bear_grin And so it begins!!!  bear_thumb  Begin whining now, and plotting for that pony Kim...hubby will have to give in

Tracy, yep, I do count my lucky stars with her....really wishing I'd had the time to put a decent fat layer on her before going into winter, though.  I didn't realize how much Lady Bear had kept her from the grub  bear_sad

I'm terrible with horse types. wish my legs were that long...

all I got to share is my friend's rescue mule, who I got to name. bear_grin
He's half draft horse, so he's ginormous.
Here is Malcolm, admire his bunny ears:

OOPs, I didn't mean to mislead you but that picture isn't my horse though I wish it was.  I just looked up a nice pony picture for Kim. I thought this one looked like just the sort of horse one might wish for, all saddled up and ready to go.

I used have several horses but had to sell them a few years ago. bear_sad  Long story, but they all have happy homes now so thats okay.

Malcolm is a beautiful mule Kim! Is he ride-able? Some people around here like mules to ride better than horses, especially for hunting. My brother-in-law used to have  couple and they certainly had colorful personalities.

NUTTY--JOHNNY-001tf.JPGShe is lovely Debbie. It is nice when you have them from a youngster as they get to know and trust you from an early age.I have a highland pony and she is 26 now and I have had her from the age of one.She is a grumpy so and so but I am used to it bear_whistle I also have a shetland and I had her from a year and she is now 16 she is lovely too-she likes to escape from fields though and has been known to pull out the electric fencing posts with her teeth-caught her out one day!I have loaded a piccie of the shetland.Notice that she has a small door so she can see out when she is stabled bear_original

Laurie, Love your diddy pony too  bear_wub   I've yet to see a shetland that wasn't cute  bear_tongue   And how thoughtful to have a small door so she can see out too.
