I love this. Are you selling them?
Thanks Ria. No these guys where made by custom order only & are all sold
Oh no Mo Beary guess that's shipping??? are you charged more for the normal subscription when you're outside the US?
And DangerBears is right too, when you click on the form is says 6 issues for $6 and the top says A subscription to Teddy Bear & Friends includes 6 issues a year, plus the complimentary tablet-friendly digital edition!
So now I'm not sure if it's 6 months = 3 issues or a year =6 LOL Guess I'll find out once they start coming in the mail^_^
yup it's $6 total not $6 an issue, there are 6 issues in a year so Ruth you're right, it's only 3 issues but it's still a better deal than $15 which would be the normal half a year price. It does say $6 for 6 months, so I read that wrong. And here in the US they are like $5 each on the new stand I think. I ordered & was charged only $6 doesn't say anything about US only so don't know about that. Guess you could contact Jones Publishing & ask, that's who I asked to make sure the offer was real. This was the e-mail I used jonespub@jonespublishing.com or I guess you could use the contact for on the Teddy Bears & Friends website.
Just got an e-mail back from the publisher it's real ^_^ so it's an awesome deal! 6 print & digital issues for $6
it says print & digital when you click the e-mail so it's an awesome deal, if it's real lol
So just wondering if this is real e-mail or not because the deal is almost too good to be true. It's 6 issues of Teddy Bears & Friends magazine for $6. Did anyone else get this e-mail? I want to order but hate to put in credit card info if it's a scam.
Thanks!

For Sale Here
Ok thanks! Just wanted to make sure that I didn't mess something up & try to post it again. For some reason I thought I posted a book here for sale before & it was ok, as long as it was out of print & something Intercal didn't sale, but I guess it was another forum. Thanks again, I didn't want to break the rules or anything.
I posted some teddy bears supplies for sale used books & a real fur coat & now the post is gone? Did I post it in the wrong area? I know because Intercal is a sponsor we can't post mohair for sale but I thought the books would be ok because they are out of print. Help lol I don't want to break the rules or anything.
Yeah $75 is a great price to have fur turned into a bear (depending on the size of the bear & quality) I've seen some badly made & down right ugly fur bears in the past. I normally charge at the very least $100 for a fur bear using someones fur & that also depends on the type of fur (so real furs are much harder to work with than others) and if they are willing to let me have the left over fur.
Some of the information that lady is giving you is wrong, maybe also why she only charges $75 LOL Like having a special machine... True not ever machine can handle the leather of real fur (my $90 singer could not) but my $99 brother does & my old singer & my Pfaff, so yeah lots of machines can sewn real fur. You just need some leather needles for your machine ^_^
Anyway a great must have book if you plan on getting into making real fur bears is "TEDDY BEARS WITH A PAST -by Nancy Tillberg". It tells you everything you could ever want to know about making real fur bears.
Hey everyone! My cousin is having a baby & the rooms theme is sea life. I wanted to make a cute but not cheesy looking sea creature. I'm thinking maybe a octopus or sea turtle. The problem I'm having is most patterns I find are not kid safe or look silly LOL. I would love to find a pattern for something that the baby can play with once he's a little older.
If anyone knows of any patterns out there please let me know & thanks in advance ^_^
LOL you're right SueAnn. I just notice my post was back from 2008 saying I had been making bears for almost a years. So now it's 2012 and it's been 5 going on 6 years ^_^ I'm no longer a newbee  LOL. And I think you're right, we're all on Facebook now LOL
well I finally put one of my LE Steiff Bears up on E-bay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Steiff-bear-Bla … 517wt_1267 I hate to sale him but I really need the money.
I also have a Robert Raikes bear up for sale too http://www.ebay.com/itm/Robert-Raikes-B … 43ab81ced7
well I can say that it's mohair but it's hard to tell the maker. The whole for the key is most likely for a music box inside the bear. Do you still have the key? Is there a plastic nose under the stitching?
Aw what a cute tiny bear!! Love the color ^_^
WOW that's needle felted? Amazing work!
