It's been so long since I've posted here I don't know where to start. I took a rest from mini teddys and got into reborning babies and it's great fun. Then I had a heart attack and was diagnosed with diabetes. I'm expecting my 7th grandbaby in about 6 weeks and one daughter and her family builit a new house so things have been jumpin'.
But now I am back and have been making my mini teddies again, focusing mainly on faereis. I hope to put some on Bear Pile soon. I have been lurking and you all are making such wonderful teds. So I'm back and so glad to be hear again.

Oh and I forgto to say that I'm now P.F.A.T.T. Cottage.....Pixies Faeries And Tiny Treasures. I should change that in my avatar.
Just beautiful and for me just the right size. I'm sure she raised lots of money.
What an adorable little fellow.
Wish I could...but I have 2 yorkies and they are not the best to have with a dog with slightly protruding eyes like a pug. I know you'll be able to find her a home.
bless you,
Jude
Happy Halloween. That sight is fantastic...it's amazing what some people can do.
Jude
The pics are fantastic and wish I could have been there but this is the next best thing. Thanks!

I know this is only Monday but does anyone have pics to share of Shaumburg. I'm dying to know what the show was like. Do tell please.

The screwy thing is..our TV thought it should have been last night and it threw off all our times tapings for the morning political shows. DH is not a happy camper.
Jude
He's a real cutie. Those big eyes just reach out and get you and I love his profile.

Samantha makes the most wonderful little bears and I greatly admire her workmanship. And though we have never met her she looks so kind in all her pics.

Mice are so nice...sorry couldn't resist What a little cutie pie. I could stand a mouse like that in my house.

Jude
I have to agree with Wendy and Jane too. Everything is fantastic. I haven't been on the computer because of a spill I took on my wet kitchen floor. (60 is too old to learn how to do the splits) But I'm able to hobble around now and have been playing catch up. This has to be the most talented place on the internet. to everyone!
mini hugs,
Jude
You guys are the best! I guess I was having what I call a senior moment and if I had thought it through I'd have knows to run the ends back through as that's what I do for all the seams and ears and eyes etc. But I love all the advice. Thanky, Thanky, Thanky.
mini hugs,
Jude
Never thought of that Marion. I'm going to give that a try. How many times do you knot?
Jude
I've been splitting the sinew into strands about the thickness of dental floss and knotting about 3 or 4 times and that's when it's been coming undone. I do cut close to the knot. Maybe I just need more practice with it. I appreciate your quick answers.

I was wondering what the mini makers on this list use to string joint their bears....when I first started making minis (in the cave days as my kids would say) I used dental floss but then I heard that this would break down in a few years. Though the ones I've kept are still fine. Then I switched to upholstery thread but I like very tight joints and really struggle with this. Now I've purchased some synthetic sinew (sp?) from Sassy Bears but it seems that when I fiddle with the limbs for pics etc it will sometimes come untied. HELP! What am I doing wrong?

Oh I just love your mouse. He/she is just adorable. It make me want a bunch of mouses.

Whew! I thought I had missed the boat on your congrats Samantha.
Sorry about your job though...but something will come along soon and in the meantime think of all the great little teddies you can make.
