He's a beautiful bear, I'm so jealous I'd love to have him. bear_original

Your bears are lovely Lena, with some really quaint decorations which I love too.:)

I will wait till I finish the BBB first then I'll think about if I'll go any further.

Definitely a 10 on my cute scale.

I've searched the library for an answer to my question already and have had a look at photos of bears with trapunto toes, but haven't found what I was looking for, so I'm posting my question here:

I'm doing the bear for the Basic bear boot camp atm and wanted to try some trapunto toes (as my smaller ones are too small for something like this; and I won't make much more bears that high) with the normal part of the footpad made out of mohair (I'm using a sparse pink mohair) and the trapunto part out of some micro plush from Sassy fabrics.
I'm wondering now.... should the fur run down the foot or up to the toes? I've seen bears with both, which one looks best in your opinion?

Thanks for your help!

Hugs, Ariane

I'm also doing the BBB Ariane, I think it's been really great so far. Have even discussed doing the advanced course in October.

I have some mohair scraps I would be happy to send to anyone who wants them just send me your snail mail addresses, and I'll put them in the mail ASAP.
