Hi Gail
Thank you so much for noticing, I just added one of my bears to Cicely Mary Barkers fairies she is a cutie isn't she.
I do have an etsy shop but sell mostly my altered pendants and bears when I make them. I have sold some mixed media stuff but I mostly trade that kind of art with the few mail art groups I belong to. If you click the website link on my avatar it should take you to my etsy shop, and of course there is my blog I have some of my mixed media projects that I have traded on that.
Thanks again
Hugs Deborah
Oh Brendy your so silly
I have an electrician coming Thursday, house was hit by lighting blew tons of stuff, hmmmm  my way of getting new toys. I will be stuck at home so the interruption would be nice so looks like we have a date the usual time? I just might have to drop the phone a few times

Hey Bearbottomsbears I guess you and I where brought back here for a reason and if it took spam to get us here than Yahoo to spam. I plan on dropping by more often seeing all these wonderful bears makes me realize just how much I miss the bear community. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone all over again.

Hi folks,
I'm not new to Teddy talk thought I haven't been here in forever I think I have let at least a year pass by since I have shown my face (haven't made a bear in so long but thinking it's time to pick up the mohair).
Anywho the reason for my visit, I had the strangest email and I knew if anyone could answers my ? it would be you guys. I just got an email looking for love and not bears sent through this site or so the sender would have me believe looked teddy talk official but when I headed into my messages on this site no email from this person. Just wondering if this is a new thing since I have been away for so long not sure if this has been going around and I'm just the last one on the boat to get this kind of email. Has anyone else gotten solicited for non bear related stuff through teddy talk. I just deleted the message but I would hate to think some wacko is using Teddy Talk to push their perversions. Looked up to see if I could find the sender in the members list and you guessed it no such luck. I'm chalking this up as just another scam and unfortunately Teddy Talk is the venue in which this person is using to get to people.
Thanks so much for your time

Wow Brenda, amazing!!!! So tiny yet so full of detail I don't know how you manage to work on such a small scale. My fingers are so honk-en stubby I'd never be able to do such fine work. Wonderful job!!! As for selling I'd give both places a try just like Matilda mentioned, it be like doing market research which is the better way to go. Good luck not that you need it your work is stunning.

I'm a hand sewer and that is why my bear production numbers are very low , I've tried the machine but the thing scares the dickens out of me. I think the monster has a mind of it's own and goes all wily nilly on me and I can't get the tension right, nasty beast makes a mess of my good mohair . I find I have more control with hand stitching and I'm all about control. If I could find an old hand crank machine I'd be a very happy girl would make sewing the bigger bear bits go a lot faster. I would always still sew head and paws by hand but would be nice to get through the tedious cadaver parts in a jiffy. HMMMMMMMMMMMM something for me to think about.

In celebration of me working my butt off and actually coming up with stuff for my store I'm throwing caution to the wind and will be giving away a Bearhaven Bear as well as a vintage bling bottle. I have been tinkering around with my soldering iron and have come up with some girly bling stuff.
My blog giveaway won't technically get underway until Tomorrow but feel free to come and visit me before that to get a feel of what I can do with a piece of mohair. In the mean time here are a few shots of Garrison the old time teddy that will be up for grabs.
Hey Beary Pals... It has been a long while since I stopped by TT but I have stuff to give away and what better way to spread the news FREE STUFF!!!!!. I thought I would let you all in on a blog giveaway that I'm participating in (COTTAGE CHARM GIVEAWAY hosted by Kim of Twice Remembered Cottage, One Woman's Cottage Life ), it won't hurt a bit I promise and who knows you might win. All I ask is that you visit my blog and leave a comment for the Rust and Rhinestones blog giveaway post and that gets your name in the draw. All the information is on my blog.
Now I know my loot up for grabs it's not bear related but what gal or fella couldn't use a wee bit of bling, if not for yourself then heck the stuff is great for gussying up the bears. That is why I started to collect the sparkly stuff in the first place it was for the bears. Any-who hope you can stop by and take a peek who knows maybe all those shiny goodies could be yours.
Take care everyone
Hugs Deborah

Hey Guys thanks for stopping by to take a look I'm still learning the ropes so please be patient with me if it takes me awhile to figure out how to add all your links.
Yup I changed my background myself, okay got help from Karen -Ciderantiques had to change codes and stuff very technical. I scanned one of my favorite scrapbook papers then had to make a code for it then change the code on the blog I'll see if I can get the how to steps.
As for the comment thingy I think I messed things up when I changed the background because I have all the settings set for accepting comments, will have to go into the help section and see if I can fix that too, like I said I'm still learning. Still not sure what kind of things one posts but I think I'll get the hang of it and yes I can see it becoming very addictive. Again thanks guys for taking the time out to visit my blog
Hugs Deborah
Yahoo!!! I never thought I was the type to join the blog world but I guess I don't know myself all that well, because I went and did just that  . Of course I needed a kick in the pants to get me up and running. Thanks Karen-Ciderantiques for twisting my arm I think this bloggy thing is going to be a lot of fun. My link section is looking kinda naked so if anyone is up for a link swap please feel free to PM me, I think I can figure out all by myself how to add new ones, if not KAREN I need help.
Hope you can stop by to check out what I have so far Hugs Deborah

Hey Kathy you beat me to the posting of bragging pictures yours look much better than mine anyway. I can't take credit for that bag I cheated with that one found it at the dollar store not bad for a buck, but the box and charm their all mine
I'm so thrilled with what my swap partner created for me her work is amazing, the amount of detail she puts into everything is out of this world. Kathy is one very talented lady and I think I'm the one who got the better end of the bargain in this swap and I feel really bad I didn't push myself creatively as much as I should have
The wee mouse she created is so cute pictures don't do the little gaffer justice it is so tiny too I don't know how she does it. Oh and the Fairy just one bundle of perfection I love her toes they are so adorable ya just want to give them a tickle, and the wee lass even has a belly button how sweet is that.
I'm so happy I signed up for this swap it is really cool to see just how creative everyone is, however next time I know I will need to step up my game to match the talent this group seems to possess.
Thank you Kathy for putting so much effort and love into my special gifts I will treasure them always.
Hugs Deborah
I think my list has gone MIA too, can't seem to find it anywhere maybe the dust bunnies got it and dragged it under the bed.
I'll keep my eyes peeled to see if it turns up
Hugs Deborah
Where do I sign up sounds like fun, Deborah
Okay I'm officially intrigued so I guess I'll have to give this swap thingy a go, sounds like a heap of fun.
Count me in............
Hugs Deborah
Okay, Okay looks like I'll have to join the fun too!!!! I hear ya Shane I know exactly how Steven feels I hate clowns in real life, they give me the heebie jeebies big time. What are they hiding behind that makeup anyway. Strange thing is I have a soft spot for clown bears MMMMM..... doesnt make sense but then again neither do I
Great Challenge idea Paula can't wait to see what everyone pulls out of their hats.
Hugs Deborah
After reading this post I thought why not give this $1.00 starting bid a go, so my latest bear I have listed on eBay I started with $1.00 opening and no reserve. I'm a risk taker and always try to look on the bright side of things, who knows it may be the ticket I need to get my sales back on track.
I have been away from eBay for quite awhile and sometimes it takes drastic measures to get noticed with so many bears to choose from. I think the $1.00 starting bid at least gets buyers to take a look. So far I have 3 new bidders and to me that in it self is worth any loss I may incur on this particular bear (he is my sacrificial lamb), now don't get me wrong I can't afford to do this on a regular bases. Bears are my only source of income and I would be crazy to take to many hits, But for me this is the road I'm willing to take for now to build my name up again. What I need is to get people to see my work then it's up to the bears to do the rest, and I look when I see a bear listed with a $1.00 opening bid cause I'm courious and even I can splurge and spend a $1.00 on a bear.
I don't think a opening bid reflects on the quality of the bear I have seen some bears with huge prices and I wouldn't spend a dime on them and there are some amazing fella's out there with crazy low prices. So for me I let the bear speak for itself and I don't care who makes it, if it captures my attention that is what I'm drawn to and not the price.
I'll let you all know how this plays out in the end for my bear, I have faith though that he will wind up just where he was meant to be, they always seem to know just who needs them the most.
Take care
Hugs Deborah
