Hi fellow teddy makers, I have a problem with some of my Teddy arms in that they turn out and make Teddy look like like he is shrugging ...the last one was so pronounced I had to pull them in at the inner elbow with a tight knotted thread. It seems to happen most when I use a pattern with one piece arms. Any suggestion as to what I,m doing wrong please.

Hello fellow bear makers I have made a bear with curly black fur the tips being silvery grey, when I trimmed his mussel his face is black and I,m having trouble doing a nose I have tried grey, white, fawn, red, brown and even blue but nothing looks right he now has a black nose and mouth on a black face with means unless you look very closely he looks featureless. Any suggestions.

I am very new to bear making this is only my second attempt so I,m still very much a no is and I have just finished this bear in chocolate brown and I wanted to add some detail, like lighter areas around the eyes to make them stand out a little but I don’t know what to use, I,v heard people mention acrylic paint which I have but how do you mix it and what consistency and also how to apply it. I have some scraps to experiment with. He actually looks much darker than his photo shows

Thank you so much for taking time to reply can I ask is ultra suede the same as faux suede and is it easy to hand so with

Hi every one can any one tell me is this a good idea to use faux suede for foot pads and hand pads instead of felt, is it just a matter of taste or is there a reason most patterns call for felt. I don’t like the idea of real suede from an ethical stand but I wanted something a little more special than felt, any ideas will be gratefully accepted

Hello everyone I am very new to teddy making and only on my third bear also new to this forum, I have questions regarding that wonderful lush curly ratinee fabric that I,m longing to try to make a bear from, is this fur best left to the experienced bear maker, is it difficult to sew with any advice will be gratefully accepted.
