WOW! What a beautiful creation. She is gorgeous.
Peaches is a cutie.
I think he's cute. I love that beautiful color and those kissable lips.
Beautiful work! I'd give him an A+.
You're right, Thomas. He does speak for himself. And old is just a word.
Blackberry is adorable. He makes me want a blackberry cobbler. Great job quitting smoking. My sister quit a few years ago, and she said she didn't realize how much she was spending on cigarettes. One of her biggest problems was keeping her hands busy. If you experience that, you can just make more bears.
Thanks all. I think Dorian does have many stories to tell. Maybe he looks sad because I keep saying he looks old. That would do it for me. Maybe I could come up with a better description.
Thank you Shane. That may be the route I will take. I have a white pelt, and as usual, my mind is running in all directions. I have so many ideas on using it, but not in white. I do need a small bit in a specific color, but I may just order that.
Does anyone have any suggestions for dying a tibetan lamb's wool pelt? I would appreciate any ideas you may have.
My latest creation, Dorian. He is an antique style bear. He is made from hand dyed, distressed mohair. His foot and paw pads are from a bit of fabric I have antiqued. He wears a collar made from antique lace around his neck. He is stuffed almost entirely with excelsior. There is a small bit of polyester in him, and he has steel pellets for weight. I have given him that "saggy old bear" body. He will be listed on my website later.
What a precious little one. It looks just like a kitten I had as a child.
He is adorable. That fur looks like something you just want to sink your fingers into. I'm sure he's a cuddler.
I don't have any criticism. I think she is adorable.
She is beautiful. I see why you love her.
Ivan looks like a keeper. I do like the older bear style.
Cute! He brings a smile to the face.
Ringo is a cutie. I love the name. Does he have friends by the names of John, Paul and George?
Wonderful. You even got the wrinkles and that bassett look - you know, bassett puppies look like their skin is 2 sizes too big. Just adorable.
They are very nice. I think you will do well at the show.
Your worries were for naught. He is adorable. Very nice work.
Beautiful! Congratulations are definitely in order.
Welcome back. I am so glad to see that you are feeling better. Let the sewing begin.
Welcome back. I hope your sewing adventure goes well.
Very cute! I'm ready to welcome the butterflies back for spring.
What a cute bear. Minty freshness.
