I am such a sucker for stray or wandering cats! We have a cat that visits us. It lives somewhere down the road from us. She's never sick or hungry looking, but I feed her anyway. Actually, I do it so she'll come back to visit us. She was timid at first, but she's a real sweetheart now.
Oh, Daphne, I'm so sad to hear this. I'll be thinking of you and your family and praying that your dad will be okay.
Oh, SueAnn, she is gorgeous! What a beautiful color. She's perfect!!
Well, I just have to say it's so much easier and way more fun to dig through stacks of mohair sitting on a sale table. I went to a show today and got to touch and feel and fall in love with the mohair Intercal offers. I came home with a couple pieces.
Oh, how lucky you are! What an adorable little feller! I just love his face and those feet are too cute! Excellent work, Bonnie!
Oh, Jane, my heart is breaking too. I am so very sorry that Holly didn't make it. I know you're hurting right now, but soon you'll be able to think of her with smiles instead of tears because of all the wonderful memories she gave you. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers, Jane.
Oh, I've already disappointed Laura. Tricked her into thinking I lived in Chicago. I am about 4 hours south of Chicago.
Springfield, IL and St. Louis, MO are each about an hour from me.
Melanie! Oh, now you gotta tell us!
Yes, I have noticed that she has toned down. My daughter is only 3, and a petite one at that. I know Gracie does not intend to harm her. If my daughter pays any attention to her such as petting, Gracie gets VERY excited and then the paws start smacking and scratching. Sometimes Gracie will knock her down and sit on her. She really is loving but she just doesn't realize how big and powerful she is. She has never, ever bitten or snapped at any of us. Now the other dog is a different story! I know they both need more training as they have terrible manners sometimes. But really the worst of Gracie's behavior I hope will improve as she ages.
Something else I was wondering. Is she too young to have puppies? Would motherhood settle her down? The past couple weeks she has taken a real interest in our cat. She has been licking the cat and the way she does it just reminds me of a mama grooming her babies. It's really cute and amazingly enough the cat likes it too.
A while back Judi started a thread, "Do you look like your bears", (or something close to that). It was pretty interesting and probably why I noticed.
Oh, Lynn, you lucky girl! What a gorgeous bear and those paper bears are just the neatest!
Oh, Tracy, he made me laugh out loud with that second pic! What a cutie. Now have a look at him in that second pic then look at your avatar...coincidence??
Daphne - I'm glad to hear Mimzy is okay! Yay, come Monday she's gonna be a star!
Debbie - We have a rough collie. She's about 1 year, 3 months now so she's not quite as destructive as she was. The sofa and floor were damaged some time ago. Now she only occasionally eats a blanket or sock. The behavior I dislike most is how she treats my daughter. Gracie, the dog, is very sweet-natured but sometimes she's like a big dumb ox, for lack of better words. She means well and wants to be affectionate but she usually ends up hurting my daughter.
Eeek...guilty! Maybe this weekend when I actually brush my hair. Haha
Jenny, am I crazy or didn't you have a picture up there not so long ago?
I have to agree with Sonya. It is such fun to create these little cards and even more fun to trade them! I wish I could create more of them more often but I am painfully slow when I'm making them.
I hope more of you will join in the fun soon!
Oh, Louise, I'm so sorry to hear you've been ill and in the hospital. It's good to hear to doing better and at home now. Take good care of yourself and join us again once you're feeling up to it.
Oh, Jane, what a beauty!
Nope, Debbie, she is a collie. I hope I don't sound foolish, but what does "go to ground" mean?
I'm no expert on dogs, but I seem to have done okay with our first dog. I don't even know where to begin with the rotten one.
Sandi... I know a great source should you need help with training your dog!! :)
Help!
Is there an update on Mimzy's surgery? I hope she'll recover without too much trouble.

Oh, Sandy, I hope that Mercedes will respond to the treatments. What a pretty little girl she is. Her coat is just the neatest I've seen. Thank you for sharing the pictures with us. I'll keep her in my prayers and you too.
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about the poor little bunny.
I've never had a dog/bear incident, but I've had lots of other trouble with our younger dog, Gracie. She got hold of a very nice jacket of mine and ate a big hole in it. She's eaten blankets. She's put holes in the carpet. She even managed to eat a hole in the vinyl kitchen floor. The very worst thing she ever did was when she dug, yes, dug, a hole in our brand new sofa! I don't know what's wrong with that dog!
I hope your bunny will survive with only an ear surgery. I can't wait to see them.
My daughter and I made a new friend today. We had a fabulous time playing with him. I must admit this isn't how I'd imagined kicking off spring! Here's some pics of my daughter Natalia, and our new friend, Frosty.
Actually, I've never used synthetic. I did buy some but it hasn't been used and it probably never will! The only bears I've made are crocheted bears, so Penelope is the very first bear I've sewn from fabric.
Oh, I am no help at all. I cannot do the list thing at all. I think it's a fabulous idea...in theory. Hee hee, yesterday morning I made a list of all the things I wanted to get done. Most of it was household chores. (I am a terrible housekeeper) Well, I made that list while sitting right here in front of the computer. Then I continued to sit at this ding dang thing for a few more hours, then I got me and the kid dressed and went to visit grandma! I managed to wash the dishes at about 7:00 p.m. last night after I got home. Pretty sad, huh?
I think he is great, Scott! I love how you've dressed him. He looks like he's off to school.
Scott, this bear is fantastic. I say keep em coming!
